You gotta love a restaurant that is in a gas station (there was no gas though) with a gravel parking lot and waitresses that know everyone by name even when I haven't been there in years. Â Get the picture?
Goodman, WI is a very small town whose only industry is the lumber yard that has been producing wood forever. Â I've got relatives who still live up there (family farm) and we had a summer home on a nearby lake for years.
I've eaten breakfast, lunch and dinner here over the years but my favorite has to be breakfast . Â It's cheap, fast and the waitress keeps both your coffee cup and ears filled as you hear what everyone has been doing since you've been gone.
Hard to imagine a place like this in a big city. But in Goodman- everyone knows the benefit of a place like this. Â It's like the local newspaper- only better.
