We dined here for my Grandma's birthday a few years ago. It was pretty tasty, with basic food and a crazy old atmosphere. It was nice, for what it is, but it is not someplace I would go on a regular basis. It was perfect for a large family party where we used the large main room and all of the tables to celebrate. They were able to get our food quickly and it was very consistent in quality.
Review Source:My boyfriend and I dined at this little gem to celebrate our very first Valentine's Day dinner (almost 3 years ago).
The restaurant is in a very small, but historic town in Pennsylvania, out in the boondocks (just the way I like it!). The building itself is extremely old and the vibes are otherworldly. The dining rooms are small and cozy...ridiculously romantic.
I was totally smitten while I was there...such very fond memories...aww.
It's definitely not cheap, but the quality of the food is impressive, most certainly worth the price. The service is awesome, they roll your meals out on sweet silver carts...so fancy.
I ordered the salmon and it was perfect...served with bread, veggies, and salad.
The wine was pretty good too. :o)
Oh yea, baby.
