  Friday night in Holden, what to do?  How about hit the locals bar (one of two in town)?  Right next to the railroad track just off 2nd St.
  
  Like Scott said, couple of beers on tap and bottle/can beers, don't forget the full bar.  The bartender was very friendly and quite funny, pretty smile from Odessa, but I digress.  Pool tables, darts, and video bowling...and jukebox with hardcore metal and rock.
  
  We walked in and definitely stumbled out... As well as other patrons.  Mixed crowd of young, middle aged, and older clientele.  A must stop to relax and just hang out or LISTEN TO THE TRAINS PASSS BY!  The whole building was vibrating, pretty cool.

  I really love rustic-looking small-town bars and I had been anxious to visit Stumble Inn for over a year before I finally got an opportunity.
  
  "Are we really going in there?" my brother asked incredulously when we pulled up front.   "That building needs to be condemned and knocked down. Or at least repainted."
  
  Nonsense. Some people just can't appreciate a rustic old building with character.
  
  It took some time for our eyes to adjust once inside, though once we adjusted it really wasn't all that dark in there.
  
  Our bartender was very nice, and the locals were friendly.   There are a few domestics on tap but most of the beer is in cans or bottles.
  
  In the back of the bar, where some of the original stone walls of the building are exposed, there are two pool tables.  The restrooms were well-kept and clean.
  
  Since we were there in the early afternoon on a weekday is was pretty quiet so nothing really stood out for me, but there was nothing bad about my visit and I would definitely stop by again the next time I pass through Holden.
