Stumpy's Restaurant & Bar

We go here every year for our annual visit with a big group specifically for their taco pizza. Historically it has been great, that is why we drive 40 minutes to get there from Lanesboro where we camp. This time it was pretty disappointing. There was very little taco meat in both of our large deep dish pizza's. We brought it to the attention of our server and she agreed that it looked pretty weak. She said she would go talk to the kitchen to find out what the issue was. She came back and said that it depends who makes the pizza and they are inconsistent. She obviously didn't go to bat for us and we all left very disappointed. Not sure we will be back.

Great breakfast, good service.  Only complaint we ate here for breakfast two morning in a row.  Had omelets both times and same everything but second day was two dollars more? Oh well.  Good food.  Plenty to eat.

Coming off the bike trail on a HOT summer day, looking for a cold beer, we found not only that, but a great burger. Oa Saturday afternoon, this place was packed with locals eating lunch. The only place left to sit was at the bar where we found service that was attentive, friendly and fun. Oh, and did I mention the GREAT burger? I look forward to my next visit.
