Subway

Yes, this is a chain.  Yes, it is fast food; but we all must go every now and again and they are NOT all the same.  This is a fairly new Subway and it appears clean.  The associates were average, run-of-the-mill automatons waiting behind the counter -- their mouths close and they start to move when they hear you talk.

On our order:

Coke
Steak
Pepperoni Pizza

I know, I know...why would I go to Subway and order pizza.  Simple answer: I have ordered it before and it was actually good; but not at this Subway.  The pizza was overly doughy and undercooked.  I was famished to the point that I just wolfed it down to get some form of sustenance.  The one thing that could have made it passable was the coke, but that machine was more of a fountain than it was a drink dispenser.  The coke was just too weak.  

Years ago, I remember loving the Philly steak and cheese at subway.  Now, all you get is a bun filled with dog food.  You can add onions and peppers, but they wont be cooked.  Do yourself a favor and spend the extra dollar or two at Publix.  You get a much bigger and a vastly greater tasting sandwich that you can split with someone.
