I'm surprised that this place wasn't busy, even though it was 4 p.m. I was photographing some AAU basketball games at the high school and there weren't any customers when I entered.
When I saw the floor mats on top of the trash cans, I thought that they were closing--6 hours early.
I took a couple of minutes to decide since I don't know the menu very well, and got the Subway Melt. Â It was interesting to see bacon going into it and when she asked what cheese, I decided on Pepper Jack.
Another employee was ringing up the sale and asked what I wanted to drink, and I replied that I wanted Mountain Dew. Â She didn't tell me that it wasn't available and didn't ask what size I wanted. Â Since they only have Coca-Cola products, I ended up with green tea that tasted (and looked) like brown tea. Â Besides that, I got a little snicker, as one looked at the other with a smirk. Â Why? Â I don't know.
Finding a place to sit, I think all of the tables were dirty. Â Let me guess--3 employees goofing off and no clean tables? Â That makes sense.
The sandwich was good and even the tea was good. Â I noticed the other trash can had a floor mat on it. Â It just seems odd. Â They didn't really do anything wrong, but other than the sandwich, they didn't do anything really right, either. Â Hagerstown is probably pleased to have another place available after games at the school.
