As one who has an intolerance to wheat, gluten free pizza pie is hard to find and generally has a blah taste, odd texture, etc. that would have one swear off eating anything that is normally made with gluten - just because the substitutes taste that bad. Â Imagine my surprise when my husband delvers a "to die for" GLUTEN FREE pizza. Â
The super thin crust is thin and firm enough to hold a MOUND of fresh ingredients: tomatoes, onions, green peppers, perfectly crisped oversized pepperoni, sausage. Â Oh, this was good! Â Even the cheese had that old fashioned slightly stringy pizza flair that you just don't see anymore with lesser pies.
The medium, fairly loaded gluten free was $16. Â Pricey? Â That's the price of a plain large pie in neighboring Park City. Â Worth it? Â Yes. Â
Note: I didn't go inside the store, but did snap a photo from the outside. Â Two of the reviews here seem to say, "Jazz up your interior". Â So, guys, Jazz it up! Â It sounds like that's part of the missing formula.
It's good pizza, nothing special, nothing spectacular. Â An old standby for me, I don't crave pizza often, I'm usually pleased with the food. Â Never had a bad pie, never a great one, but it gets the job done. Â Consistency is important and these guys are always putting out a good pizza. Â The staff are very friendly and take good care of you. Â Just grab take out, the dining in the restaurant itself is very boring.
