Clue...the place was empty at dinner time on a holiday weekend.
Avoid the very yukky chicken .... oh I meant teriyaki chicken. Â Dry, salty - could have been on Drake's passage around the Horn. Â The vegetable accompaniment was fair. Â The eggplant whatever had Chef BoyArDont quality red sauce on the pasta.
The eggplant itself was mediocre. Â The merlot was a decent pour and of average quality fo the price. Â Take it from me, drive down 15 minutes to Truckee and you can have real food.
Camping at Cisco Grove, we found ourselves low on alcohol and after about 15 minutes of searching the Internet, I came across their website and decided to make the drive.
Unsure of whether they were still in business or open, we took the gamble which was a good pay off.
The employees were extremely friendly, poured an above average Long Island, and had decent wings. Food was served pretty quickly, and the place was empty.
It was a good place to go and get a few drinks for the afternoon, and also find a general store that sold alcohol.
