Since they re-opened I have to say that food in Caldwell is just a total bummer :( Banana pudding so watery that you needed a straw to slurp it up. Hard over cooked gizzards and livers. BLAND GROSE gravy and even blander catfish. I used salt but nothing helped. Never again

Very good buffet for lunch.

Another time I wish half stars were available, because I kind of rounded up to three. It's not that the food is bad, because it's not.  It's because while the food's okay, the restaurant itself is none too clean, and the owners have really skimped on everything from creamer to ingredients.  Our breakfasts just kind of  *tasted* cheap and Sysco-y.  

I'm looking forward to trying its lunch buffet, which looks to be comprised of chicken-fried steak and mashed potatoes and general Midwestern-style fare.
