T J's Pour House

A little post-lunch on a Saturday, I wasn't expecting a 2 hour meal, but we got one at TJ's. Fortunately we had time on our hands. And we were in Gobles, where the heck else do you think you're going to go.

Anyway, the place wasn't busy, but we were repeatedly told that there were only 2 of them there and only so much room in the fryer.

That about sums up the menu, if it goes in the fryer, TJs has it. Seriously, the menu is 5 pages of dense 8 point type. Way, way too much stuff for a small town like this. Anyway, after considering raiding the salad bar's croutons before we fainted, our burgers and wings did finally arrive. And maybe we were way over-hungry by that point, but it all really hit the spot. Good, cheap bar burgers. Cheese fries with real cheese rather than cheese-food. Big, cheap beers.

So I spent more of my life in TJ's than I care to remember, but dang it that burger was pretty good.
