Other than these wanna be prideful, phony acts of asininit people, I love this bar. The deferential locals, are convivial company, gifted singers, & humbly blunt so be respectful and watch the way you look and talk to people. They have pool tables, darts, & kareoke. analytically priced drinks, live music & DJ in certain nights, and great customer service. If I could drive though, this would be on my top 3 along with Five-0 bar and lounge in Waikiki. I'm from here so I love this bar coming from a local. :-)

Conveinetly located in the Kapolei Shopping Center its a great place with lots of parking, great bands, great security, great people and service. Drinks are resonable price and pupu's are delicious. I heard there was new management and things changed for the better. Being a sport fan there are currently installing big screen tv and hosting games on sunday. The experience is what expected and got more than that, meet some good people from all over. Definitely heading back again and bringing friends for sure.

A GREAT DIVE BAR!!!!  I like this square box of a bar / karaoke / pool / lounge place.  It has a chill, no fuss vibe.

    Things you should know:
    1. You will see a lot of bright green shirts holding a brew and there will be a few attractive, young guys playing pool.
    2. There will be an older man or two spocking you out as you walk to your booth or table.
    3. A girl will be dancing like a stripper in a corner just for fun.
    4. There will be BOTH hip hop and old school Hawaiian music played from the jukebox.
    5. If you're a woman, some man will ask you to dance even though no one else is on the dance floor.

Screw Chili's (shudder), Outback (bleh!), Just Tacos (yuck!) and all the other cold, corporate joints who could care less about you.  The T-Spot is a salt of the earth, divey experience that you should have at least once in a while.

the only straight up bar in the kapolei area

    the goods:
-killer food, the kalua pig nachos are awesome!
-they finally have a bathroom, a clean one at that
-karaoke, it's entertaining to watch drunk people sing
-conveniently located in the kapolei shopping center= plenty of parking
    -cool bartenders, they can mix
-cozy ambience with sofa like seats. good for lounging
    -live music on weekends
-pool tables/big screen hd tv/ touch screen mini arcade for entertainment
-nice fish tank behind the bar
    -friendly staff

    the negatives:
-gets moke'd out every now and then
-sometimes live music on weekends gets way too loud and annoying. real bad if you're trying to chill, and they charge cover on those nights

i basically go there because it's close to home.

We wanted a beer and we were in the area so we spontaneously decided to go in there to drink one bottle of beer and then eat dinner.  Place was pretty deserted that evening totaling a number of six people, including us.  Sat down in one of the booths and the seats were so worn there were cracks in the vinyl.  I had shorts on and the chair was pinching my legs.  haha.  That was a bit uncomfortable so I tried to sit still as best I could.  The bartender was polite.  The bar served it's purpose in fulfilling our needs.  Wouldn't be my place to hang out again though.

T-Spot was an awesome bar when it first opened.  Good, cheap food and a cozy seating arrangement.  Finally a true bar in Makakilo/Kapolei!  If you grew up in Makakilo, you might run into old family friends.  However, since it first opened I've seen it go downhill and the brakes don't work.

    Pros:
    - uh..............

    Cons:
    - Bathroom is outside in the hallway.
    - You might get mugged in the hallway.
    - You might get shot in the hallway.
    - Even if you're sitting in the bar before the cover charge kicks in, they'll ask you to pay the cover charge.  What?!
    - Audio for bands is ridiculously loud.
    - Seating at the bar is tiny.

Well it's pretty much the only bar in Kapolei so what u see is what u get.. Pretty heavy local crowd .., but overall they are pretty welcoming at this bar... Decent priced drinks with a band usually playing.. I say .. Good enough for me.. Hopefully one day we will get a cool sports bar or something

Idk why I keep thinking this place with get better with time..

pros: $3 varying shot specials, good pupus, & sometimes (but barely ever) good music

cons: idk why but they charge cover all the time for their "events" (live local unknown/unsigned bands), beastlike security/bouncers, & the crowd is usually old foggies, skanks & doodooboiz..

BUT it's pretty much the only 'lounge' Kapolei has to offer...

Love coming here. Love the live music and the chill environment. The cocktail wahine is cool, great customer service. They got pool tables, darts, touch screen games, and karaoke before the crowds come of course. But we love coming to hang out and grind on the pupus. The smoke meat, poke, poke style soy beans, kalua pig nachos are broke the mouth. The dance floor is good but noone dances but us. LOL. The only bad thing would be the bathrooms because someone either pisses the floors or barfs on them. Other than that the place is a nice relaxing place not in town.

One of the only reason i come here is when i cant make it from work to longs before they cut off liquor sales. Price for beer isn't that bad, its around average i guess. I feel a little intimidated by all the huge Hawaii guys where as i am this skinny little white boy chilling at the bar by my self but oh well. But one thing i will not forget next time is a set of ear plugs, cause after midnight when everyone is starting to get drunk some guy or girl has the bright idea to start singing karaoke!!! Now dont get me wrong. I dont mind listening to people sing. But..... HAVE YOU EVER HEARD OF A "KEY!!!!" ITS WHAT SOME PEOPLE SING IN !!!!

But other then that i got my drink on : ) so i was happy !!!

    HAHA

Dude the plastic chairs just remind me of a back yard pa'ina.
Wish that leeward Oahu can have a place that has some class and style.

Guess that won't be for a while..But this won't do for me.

I came when they had a live local band...definitely a great time! Their mixed drinks are also pretty good too, and I liked their service. However, the ambiance could use some work. It's pretty much one of the only watering holes in the Ewa Beach-Kapolei-Makakilo areas aside from Outback or Chili's, and it's more so a place to hang out with a group of friends and talk story rather than lounging and mingling.. Anyway, since our options are already pretty limited in leeward Oahu, and it gets annoying driving all the way to town, this will have to do.

um, i died and went back home....i don't know where the rest of the reviewers are from, but where i come from a good dive bar is a good dive bar. maybe it isn't the t spot's goal to be a dive bar, but i suggest they welcome the title with open arms.

i have only lived in kapolei a short time, and have desperately missed my local dive with random customers, stiff drinks, and music that is too loud. if you are looking for a place to dress up and sip martinis at, probably not your spot. however if you are seeking out a classic local watering hole, you can unpack your bags.

    i'll be back.

Not like I'm going to drive all the way out to Kapolei to hang out at the T-Spot.  It's one of those places to me that feels like it was something else other than a bar before it got there. You know what I mean? Like the place is too big, or the floor doesn't have a bar feeling, or if some or all of the furniture are not fixtures, but fold-away stuff? It just kinda feels like that.

I don't think this is a cigar shop any more.  Perhaps they were one at one time but I'm guessing that when they banded smoking in bars that sort of put the kibosh on the cigar angle.  I only went there once, there was a 5 dollar cover charge.  The decor was mostly folding chairs and tables.  There is a pool table and there was a DJ with a few people dancing but not really a designated dance floor area.  They did have some food items but the menu looked like it was pretty much limited to whatever they could fry or microwave.  I didn't see many people eating.

Perhaps this bar was once nicely appointed as there were hints of a former glory; the restrooms were nicer than I expected and there was marble and brass around the bar.

The people who were there were nice enough but there were some big bruddahs in there.  I was both happy and nervous that two Hawaii 5-0 types were permanently stationed right outside the front door.

It's a local bar, not a particularly good one.
