Ladda's Place

This place was disturbing and probably illegal.  First of all, there were no men sitting alone anywhere in this place, and it's not because it's couples-friendly or group-friendly.  This is a "Buy Me Drinky" Bar, where the waitresses will keep you company if you're a male and have a decent credit score.  Don't let the out of key karaoke recordings smuggled in from Manila, or the badly placed dart boards (right at the entrance) throw you off to thinking that you just got off the boat to good time island.

Our waitress was one of the only employees who didn't appear to be "with" any patrons, but she was no birthday cake either.  When we paid for our drinks she took it upon herself to take out her own idea of a tip and gave us back the remainder of our change -- seriously?  YES.  Praise Buddha there was a younger waitress on duty (who also didn't appear to be "with" any patrons) who spoke English and didn't pretend to not understand us, who got our rightful change back from the bitter woman behind the bar.  While the waitress was giving us back OUR change, the woman behind the bar was watching us like WE were the thieves, to see what we'd do.  Seriously?
