Buffalo Wild Wings

I don't know why this place has 1-2 star ratings especially opening week. For goodness sake they are a new establishment, give them a break would ya? It's a wing place, what do you expect it to be? Proper etiquette class? Umm I think not!

We came here a little before 10pm after watching Pacific Rim(07/13/13) at Pearlridge. I called around 9:40pm and asked how long the wait would be, I was told about an hr wait. I didn't freak out or anything because it was expected. I actually was hesitating it to be longer than that but she did mention that for 2 people, we can do bar seating since it's first come first serve.

We arrived and the host told us if we wanted to look at the bar area we could because he said there was 2-3 tables open and a few getting ready to leave. My bf went back there and the host said, if you want the dining area it really is just a 15-20 minutes wait or less! But my bf gestured me to the back and that's where we sat in the bar area. The waitress came and cleaned up the area quickly and told us the next time she comes back she would take our orders. We were ready and hungry and new exactly what we want since we usually order the same things or change it up a bit or two.

We ordered a bunch of wings with mango habanero and we did the caribbean jerk sauces, side order fries, extra ranch sauces, and a bunch of celery. Our waitress, totally didn't get her name but short filipino girl..She was super nice and friendly. Didn't have a problem and always smiling. I think she tried flirting with my bf too but it's cool we had good service from it ;) The girl who brought out our food, Jazzy was terrible. She was in a bitchy mood like I wanted to slap her! She almost just flew our food on the table and the ranch sauce was half full looking like she spilled some. We asked for extra and she said tell your waitress. Umm okay then betch!

Food was awesome! BF ordered the cheesecake balls. I wouldn't. For 6 super small pieces it didn't WOW me at all. He liked it though. Loved the wings as always! I'd say to do the bar seating at all times. No wait if you're lucky like us and it seemed lively rather than in the dining area. After we finished we walked across the dining area to go to the bathroom and wow HUGE DIFFERENCE! Dining area seemed so proper, almost quiet, like it was actually an etiquette class or something. I didn't notice any TV at all whereas in the bar area the walls are filled with different sized TVs which was awesome. We like loud, lively, and fun so we suggest you go to the bar area plus it saves you from long waits to sit in a boring dining area that seems so bland. Definitely will go back since it is closer to where my bf works otherwise we normally go to the Waikiki one which is just as great.

The hype must be that is is a new chain being brought from the mainland to Hawaii, oh yay how exciting??
Pros: Great place for men to watch their sports, is a nice place for men. A mans heaven basically. Right now everything is nice and brand new. Did I mention Wing Tuesday?? 75 cents each
Cons: Bad service, no drink refill. Was someone mad in the kitchen because the fries I had was highly salty and so was my wings that I had, in addition is had soo much sauce on it. I had the Mild and Terriyaki which was super sweet and salty, I could have died from hyper tension and diabetes right there.

Overall the hype will die out and if you work there please dont take it out on the food and remember the customer is always right.

I don't understand why people are complaining about having to wait.  This location just opened...HELLO!!  It's going to be BUSY!!
We decided to go on a Monday night.  The wait was around 30mins so we decided to head back to the bar and look for a table.  This place is really big and there were a lot of tables/bar seating.
We secured 2 seats at the bar and were quickly served a drink and our apps and wings were ordered.  There are a ton of TV's!!  This could easily become our new place to go to watch the fights.
It did take about 25mins for our wings to come out, but our apps were seved w/in 10 mins so the wait didn't bother us.  Plus the place was packed and I'm sure the kitchen was swamped.
Overall, I like this location for BWW.  It's nice not to have to drive all the way downtown.  Plus there is a ton of parking!

Word to the wise, and I would think this goes without saying....buuuuut, if you have small children, just wait for a table.  Don't bring them back to the bar and then complain about the noise.  And if you're not willing to wait then find someplace more kid friendly.  Sometimes being a parent means that you can't go to all the hot spots with your kids in tow.
