Decided to check this place out with my sisters. It was our first time visiting and I personally was impressed.  I honestly didn't know what to expect as I had read some of the previous reviews on Yelp.  It was easy to get to (yes, it's in the middle of 'no where').  You can pretty much park anywhere you want.  They offer complimentary valet parking or you can drive straight through around the hotel and park in front of the pool where you will also see an entrance to the hotel.  Friendly staff, clean and spacious room and comfy beds.  We had dinner at the Pork Chop buffet and really enjoyed it.  Good customer service. Since it was a Saturday night it got busy  and slot machines were taken up quite quickly.  Don't expect a Vegas size casino, but a reasonable size given the location.  There's a small non-smoking section (or room).  Entertainment was great and we picked a good night to go as they had a country rock band preforming that night (Midnight Wine).  Overall great atmosphere and we enjoyed our time.  I will definitely be going back.

This hotel has the worst service. If you are looking for a place to stay in the area, I urge you to look elsewhere. I stayed about a year ago and the receptionist was rude, and when I arrived I was told I didn't have a reservation. Good thing I had printed my confirmation email!
Today I tried to reserve again, because it is close to where my grandma lives. This time I tried online. The website was down so I called. I was given attitude, and passed around to 3 people before being told I would be charged $40 more per night by booking over the phone. Because their website is down. Tachi Palace does not care about customer satisfaction. So if that's important to you, stay somewhere else.

This casino is in the middle of nowhere but it's really nice inside.

They have a ton of slot machines, a few table games, a bar, and a food court.

If I actually won money on my one and only visit, then they would easily get 5 stars in my book!

Coyote Grill - food very good, service good, they do not emphasize alcohol sales, prices are low, portions adequate. Plenty of veggies.  Food was fresh tasting and looked real - not as though is was just removed from a plastic pouch.  We had 2 complete entrees which included soup / salad (1 chicken & 1 salmon) 1 beverage for $25.

We cruised the buffet - looked good, nice selection.  Dinner is $15 (unless it's a seafood night), but there is a $2 senior discount (55 & over).   Place lacks atmosphere.

If you join the Player's Club before you eat, you can get an additional 5% off.

Parking can be dreadful.  We parked in the back of the Hotel, walked around the pool to enter.  The Coyote Grill is just past the Hotel Reception Desks, so you don't have to go through the Casino (and smoke) to get there.

This is the sorriest casino I have ever visited.  The staff are extremely rude.  The room was too noisy to sleep.  Poor heat control.  I would neaver go there again.  Machines are tightest in the State too.  Nothing good about my experience there. Neaver again.  Smoke even in the so called non smoking cube. There was a warning on tv not to drink the water. Drive a little further to a decent place.  Food was overpriced and poor quality. Nothing good to say at all.

The first person we talked to was very rude about the capacity of the hotel when we showed up with a friend with us for a second room.  "We don't have anything else available" Fine the 4 of us can all just share our double queen room. "That's not what you booked." Yes it was. I asked about the blocks of rooms Expedia has set aside for them and was told they didn't exist. So we said fine we'll figure it out in our tiny king bed room. And we did. Using the hotels wifi we logged in to Expedia and booked another double queen room. It was available about half an hour later. Although even though we all witnessed it, they said we only booked another king room. The subsequent folks we talked to were fairly accommodating. "Eyebrows" as we called her, was the rudest person we've ever encountered in the hospitality industry. Left a pretty bad taste in our mouth.

I don't think it could get any worse

    1. Slot machines: The slot machines are some of the worse in the United States.  I have always been one of those slot players who likes to look around, and play casually. However, as others have noted, the slots do not pay out. Now for those who wish to quote statistics about slot machines, don't bother. I know the statistics of slot play.  Recently I had a slot machine error with an "open door" alert. It took over 20 minutes to get an attendant to fix the machine. The attendants are few and far between.

    2. Customer service: I am an avid bingo player. I have played bingo for over 25 years. I really love the game. And while this is about customer service I will expand. Twice within the same month, I have seen two people win 2-3 times in a single 15 card game. One of which was a Tribal elder, while the other was a close friend of the staff. It is amazing the things you learn by just listening. Statistically, simply winning bingo in a 1200 seat parlor is very high, for the the same person to win the bingo 3 times in the same parlor is astronomical. But back to the customer service, bingo attendants are rude, and unless you have the secret handshake don't expect service. But this goes for all attendants, not just bingo. Tachi has to realize that players are their bread/butter, and we should be treated as such.

    3. Player's Club (PC): Yeah right, all those hard earned (paid for) points for useless and impractical gifts. My girlfriend and I signed up for their PC on the same day, in fact the same attendant did both. Two weeks later, she received $70 of Tachi cash. Good for her, yet I received nothing. There has always been the thought that PC cards which track your movement and spending will help and hurt you. Yes you earn points (help) but they are track time on a machine, the type of machine you play and whether or not you win. In short, the long PC line at the PC counter, the value of your meager points isn't worth the trouble.

Also let me add, Tachi is so hard up for your money, they have quit giving out Player's Club card bungy cords unless you want to buy it.

    4. Gaming Atmosphere: TOO CROWDED. Nothing anyone can do about this.

    5. Amenities: The buffet absolutely sucks. Unless you are only interested in simply eating because you are dying of starvation. The wait staff is again few and far between, I have eaten better food at Home Town Buffet, there is nothing outstanding about this restaurant. In fact it is below par when compared to a local chain restaurant.

    6. Food & Drink: See above. Lastly noted, the bar is extremely small, not enough seating, and the price is extremely high. I have also noted, the bartenders are merely handle pullers for beer. They do not know basic bartending and must refer to the Bartenders Cook Book often, this equates to very slow service and poorly made drinks.

    7. Valet/Parking: While Tachi does offer free valet, don't let the word free entice you. The number of valet attendants are small. Sometimes taking 15-20 minutes to get your car returned. Also, Tachi Palace does NOT offer motorcycle parking. OPPOSITE of this is Table Mountain - numerous valet attendants, quick car return, and offer free water on your way out. CLASS ACT!

The bottom line: Tachi really needs to quit being self-serving and tend to their customers. Because of piss-poor customer service, lousy paying slot machines, inadequate food, and extremely high drink prices Tachi Palace has lost my 2 grand per month.

My boyfriend and I redeemed one of our free room coupons. To our suprise they upgraded our room to a suite at no extra charge. We were very pleased with the service  and the cleanliness of the room.

Coming down from Norcal to Socal, I decided to stop by Tachi to check the place out on a Sunday Afternoon.

    - 25mi from 5, or about 30min to get there. You get to pass Lemoore Naval and the drive wasn't too scary during the daytime. Even at night, Although 1 way roads, it doesn't seem too bad because of the flat lands. You pretty much border the California Aqueduct.
    - No structured parking lot. I only saw outside parking which seemed really crowded.
    - Huge. Very attractive structure.
    - Didn't smell too much like cigarettes. $5 blackjack table said no smoking! YES!
    - Mystery roulette min $5. Just like Pechanga and San Manuel.
    - 2 $5 6deck 3:2 blackjack tables! Max $300.
    - Easy to get some action! I was fortunate enough to actually play one on one with the dealer! Love that, especially with $5 blackjack!
    - No CSM! nice.
    - They have a couple of $10 and $25 blackjack tables. It wasn't too crowded so it was very easy to hop around.
    - New Member sign up: Free Tachi T-Shirt. Choice of L or XL. Also $100 payback losses in slots only for the month you join. Takes 4-6wks to get the money.
    - They have a few restaurants but not a really good Chinese restaurant. No Cache Creek status. More like San Manuel foods. They got a Pizza Hut.
    - Nice outside bar. Relaxing. Resort like. Like Pechanga and Pala.
    - The drive is far. About 200miles if NorCal. In NorCal, just go to Reno. If in Socal, it's like 150miles. I'd just do Las Vegas, just drive 75mi more. BUT, if you're in between travelling, this makes a great stop!

BINGO players beware. My wife hit a BINGO this weekend and she was given the run around because she didn't have her social security card, only her DL and SSN. She first provided her SSN and DL to an attendant and after about 20 mins. she was informed that the verification system had crashed, "as it usually does on Saturdays @ 9 p.m." They told her she'd have to come back the next day to pick up her money and that they couldn't provide her something in writing verifying her winnings. The employees said our receipt was sufficient and to trust them. WTF?! When we expressed frustration with the lack of written assurance several employees, including the floor supervisor, "D.G", acted annoyed and were rude.

The following day when we came to pick up my wife's money, "D.G." greeted us with a sarcastic, "Oh...hi." We were told to wait 10 to 15 mins.  for some paper work; almost an hour later, without as much as an acknowledgement in the meantime, a different supervisor, "A.G.", followed up with us and paid my wife her winnings. During this process, "D.G." sat at her desk dictating to "A.G." while checking her Facebook on her iPad.

We will never play BINGO at Tachi again. Their shady practices are bad business; from now on I'll gamble at a different local casino. We were made to feel stupid for asking questions and were talked down to during the entire process which took away from the joy of winning. #AintNobodyGotTimeFoDat

Maybe closer to 3.5 stars for the room and the casino.  We decided to spend the night after attending a concert here.  We did not get a chance to use the pool, but it did appear nice when we looked at it from our room.

The casino is not too bad, although we did not win a thing.  I believe they even have a no smoking section for all you non-smokers out there.

I can recommend coming here for that gambling craving.  It is so much closer to come here than Vegas, if you live in the Valley.

My brother and I stayed here and he was so hoping to hate the place but I have to say we enjoyed our stay here so much that we will definitely be going back!  Not for the gambling but the Coyote Grille was great!  Gabriel was our server and I have to say that his presence at our table was always timed perfectly!!  He is very sociable, polite and made our dining experience GREAT!  Customer service and the rooms were quite enjoyable and the pool area is great.

well its a casino - bright and flashy with a smokey interior (where smoking is allowed)
have never really won big here as at the other area casinos
it is located in the middle of farming/dairy lands so yeah there is a smell to the place
they had a sad little buffet that appeared to be an afterthought but they closed it
and opened a new one that we haven't tried yet

so of the three local casinos I would rate this one the lowest

This place smells horrible......  I know the smell is coming from the outside, but they should have better ventilation in the hotel hallways.  People are walking around like there isn't a smell in the air.  I had their buffet, which was decent and very reasonably priced.  But the smell in the air, makes me wanna buy a revolver and put six rounds in it, and play Russian Roulette by myself!

This resort is lovely! The inside was beautiful and clean. The rooms were a nice size and definitely 5 star quality!

The pool area: It was very nice. Two jacuzzis. Although when I went, I was in the jacuzzi by the pool's water fall umbrella.
There were a lot of kids in the jacuzzi when I went with my cousins and my mother. Too many children if you ask me. Especially since they were unsupervised.
The pool was suppose to close later in the day, but it closed early because someone had made a mess in the pool, which was kind of a bummer because we wanted to swim longer. We got out and went to our room. I looked out of the suite room window and saw the pool keepers taking their precious time cleaning the pool. I guess they weren't in much of a hurry. =?

The casino itself: I enjoyed being in the casino! Very gorgeous place. I don't gamble much, but my mom sure did enjoy herself!

Overrall, it was a good experience and lovely resort and casino!

Hotel is wonderful!  The spa is alright and the casino is horrible.   The reason to stay is because of the pool alone.   The spa had no retreat to relax in while waiting for your appointment.  My deep tissue massage was anything but deep tissue.  The buffet was mediocre and the casino had boring machines and no one was winning anything.

** Hotel was far better than Chukchansi, but the spa was inferior.

Though I had a really bad time in my home town of Lemoore near Fresno in Southern Cali...cause the pesticides they use for farming and cow manuer made my allergies go to extremely high levels where my asthma just went bad....

I went sometime the end of July to first week of august for one week while my mom had to go to san diego to meet up with a close family friend while they were living in yokosuka, japan back in the day...

anyhow...i stayed at the tachi palace for 3 nights and four days total and found it very peaceful and relaxing....went to the pool when it was hot and it is uniquely designed and when we needed a quick boost my brother and i bought coffee at the starbucks located within the lobby area....

the staff is very friendly and always willing to assist me...my dad who lives there went to la for a bowling tournament...and left me with $100.00 for the whole day...lol...i thought it was cool...we ate at the tachi palace buffet and it was really filling...

the rooms smelled nice like blood shot oranges and lysol spray and the beds made me ready for sleep...always sleep good here at the tachi palace hotel...though i do not gamble....there is so much to do here as well too...

I have returned to Tachi Palace a few times since my first review. It has gotten a great deal better since my first visit. Though it is still 18 and over and you have to drink in designated areas, it has gotten rid of that club which was the reason I had a bad experience in the first place. Tachi palace had a horrible buffet which reminded me of a bad high school cafeteria but to my surprise and delight, they tore down that club to replace it with a new awesome buffet with seafood, prime rib and the works. I stayed in one of the suites which was also priced really well. The suite consisted of two restrooms, two decks, a California king bed, king size sofabed, wet bar and amazing views. I plan on returning for another adventure.

I enjoy this casino/hotel quite a bit, I typically fair well here and can play all night.  On my last trip down I discovered the upstairs area which has a smaller variety of mostly older slot machines, but it is a good place to get away from the crowd.  I have stayed in the hotel a few times, reasonably priced, spacious and clean rooms.  The beds are also pretty comfortable. Beware of rooms on the 2nd floor that are over the club, the loud bass will keep you awake!  I have yet to venture down to the pool, but It does look quite inviting. The 24 hour restaurant has been hit and miss with the service, I find it annoying when there are a lot of staff members standing around pretending not to see you.  The prices are very reasonable and the food is good for what you are paying.  Overall I enjoy this casino and hotel and I do recommend it to others as a place to check out.

We stayed the weekend to enjoy the pool with our toddler and a little gambling for the parents.  Nice clean room, Great pool area, free valet (however, tipping would be nice), Coyote Grill was very good food at great price.  Casino was clean and modern, with a  good selection of games.  Bar was nice with video poker at your seat.  Only complaint was some of the pool staff was rude.  Feels much more like a small Vegas hotel then other indian casinos.  We will be back!

I like this casino and my fiance and I do fairly well, every time we come here to play. Mind you, we are small-time gamblers. No max-bet for us. We typically leave without losing money, but never gamble with the hopes of winning a lot.  Last time I was at Tachi (Memorial weekend 2012) I did win $80 off a $0.30 cent bet - NOT BAD!!!

Rooms are cheap, unless it's a holiday weekend. I think a business like this should reward you for visiting them over the holiday rather than punish you with a higher room rate.  They are clean and spacious and overall very nice. The sink area of the bathroom is pretty small but the toilet/shower area is very large.

The restaurant near the hotel check-in is 24 hrs and the food is very good. The value is great also as you get a lot of food for your money and it's all been awesome so far, except the mashed potatoes.

The buffet was recently renovated and went from a small-time, cramped, poorly placed seating to a much larger area on the 3rd floor. I think it's 3rd..... and Bingo is second floor? I might have that backwards. It seems to have moved away from a breakfast focus though and I'd highly recommend you try the buffet for dinner rather than in the morning.

They have valet parking but the general parking lot isn't horrible. Even when it's full there are employees driving around offering rides so that their guests don't have to walk. ("have to walk", like it's a punishment!! We always turn these carts down and enjoy the short walk together.)

Guests are allowed to smoke in most areas of the casino but you cannot drink except for the designated bar area and a small outside area. Lame.

This is a hidden treasure that my husband and I found while driving late one night coming from Pyramid Lake, NV. We had GPS several hotels and it didn't seem like we were getting anywhere. Luckily, the GPS found this place...thank goodness! The hotel staff gave us a discount as it was really late that night, instead of charging us the regular price.

The Casino has about three floors of penny slots to quarter slots. Poker room for smokers and another for non-smokers. Blackjack and Roulette without the ball too. We're not much gamblers. It was a nice walk-through of the casino and see what kinds of games they had. They do have a vending machine of a variety of cigarettes, if you are a smoker. I think it was the second floor that had this pendulum thing in the center of the lobby with people crowded circularly. I forget how the pendulum moved as it was telling the time of day. It was cool as it knocked down a huge domino piece. We ate at the Coyote Grille. Best Spinach and Artichoke Dip ever!! =)

It was a pleasant surprise that there weren't any odors of smoke from cigars or cigarettes anywhere in the Hotel. I LOVE the hotel rooms! It made me feel like I never wanted to go back home. It was like a vacation in itself and that's a RARE GEM! Hotel staff was very helpful and gave us the best view, pool side (they have pool side cabanas alongside the fence, L-shaped). Fast and friendly service. The room has Tachi decor with modern furniture and technology. Very clean!! We appreciated the essence of oranges. Luscious pillows and sheets that felt like we were melting within it. Kept us very warm. It was so comfortable that we didn't want to get out of bed. It was the most relaxing and romantic setting ever!!

If you're looking for a relaxing vacation....hidden from the city, consider the Tachi Palace Hotel. We look forward to our next visit with our friends and family!

I have the worst of luck when I play here. Only once have I won anything over  $100 in slots. I only play slots, they are like video games. Stick to the big games with free/random bonuses.

What i really love about this casino is that they sell Chicago hot dogs! :) yum yum yum!!

They throw a pretty cute new years event, but it gets packed! Also, don't drive when there is a chance of fog because going there in the thick fog is very dangerous!

Casino review only (we did eat at the Coyote Grille, but it's not worth mentioning again, so let's just leave it at that)...

This casino is great.  It's big, it has great variety for any type of gambler and paid out very nicely.  $20 got me over $800 on slots & tables, so that's a pretty nice average (we played for over 5 hours).

Machine variety is vast, including choices of games and denominations.  I can't express enough how I wish this casino was located close to home (we stopped by here on the way home to LA from the Bay) - this would surely beat out the competition!  No San Diego or So. Cal casino seems to match the bar that Tachi is at.

The hotel offers seemed great too, we vacillated a bit if we wanted to stay (under $100/night, actually, under $75!, which is unheard of for a hotel - SD casino's charge upwards of $200/night), and now kind of wish we had (the traffic was disastrous).

Again, definitely try this out.  Most players seemed to make their money last, even if not big wins (I actually stayed at one machine for an hour never going + / - more than $20).  Didn't hear any screams for a big payout, so maybe the machines are a little tighter, but considering they seem to be the only casino in this big middle of nowhere, that's a bit understandable.

There is a small 21+ area, which I did want to try out, but I'm always wary of cornered off sections (like this, or like non-smoking), maybe just a silly feeling of the machines not paying out like they do on the regular floor.

If your in the area, or passing by, test your luck out!

I stayed here 3 nights during the World Ag Expo, otherwise I'd never be out here. Truly in the middle of nowhere! That being said, I would stay here again if I was in the area.

I checked into a non-smoking king room on Monday, it was very clean and pretty big for a standard room. 42" flat screen tv, writing desk, sitting chair and VERY comfortable king sized bed. Unfortunately the casino and hotel had lost its liquor license, so no alcohol was on the premise. After a quick drive to the store, this problem was fixed. We ate at the grill just before entering the casino. The food was okay, but heavy in my stomach. The service was very SLOW. I had the eggplant parmesan - it was forgettable. The casino was clean and not as smoky as everyone complained. I played blackjack for a little while and was winning!

Tuesday morning, the shower was barely hot, even turned up all the way. This was odd. I later found out there was a big water leak Saturday night and the problem was soon resolved. The Starbucks opened at 6am and didn't have hot coffee. Their machine was broken so they only had cold drinks. That would be fixed later too. That night we ate at the grill again, this time I had salmon. Better than the eggplant but the service was so slow I vowed not to go back again. More gambling, more winning. A pleasant experience!

Wednesday the shower was back to normal, the coffee at Starbucks was hot and everything seemed fine. We went out for sushi that night, then returned back to the hotel for drinks in the suite on the 7th floor before hitting the casino. I won playing blackjack all three nights!

The pool looked nice, but I only saw it when it was dark outside. I didn't use the exercise room - they have about 3 treadmills and a small cable machine.

    Overall, a nice stay.

My husband and I went to the casino at Tachi Palace and decided to eat at the Coyote Grill--this was our first visit and I will never, ever eat there again.Horrible service and food--my salad had plastic in it after I had eaten a majority of it. The waitress was not help full in resolving this issue, not to mention the place smell like a big cigarrett. Restaurants need to be help to a higher standard when cooking and preparing food for the public. Stay away!!

First impression, great looking place from the outside for the middle of nowhere. The valet guys seem nice-younger high school boys. The front desk-Emily was friendly but they no longer had a non smoking room available or king bed. The room 5024 carpet was completely disgusting  dark stains all over, the air was so polluted with smoke I could barely sleep and the 27" TV that you could barely see from your bed because the room was pretty big. We called the front desk again to see if there were any non smoking available they were suppose to check & return our call but never did. We went to sign up for the premiere club and the girl-Stephanie M. was very rude, rolling her eyes because we asked questions about the perks offered. Not someone that should be working in customer service, when we asked for her name her attitude changed a little.
My mom is a frequent here and always raves about it....but so far not too impressed with any part of it. The buffet was an hour wait for not so good food. Definitely 6th grade cafeteria like experience, especially with the decor and set up. Food on the floor, stations not stocked, somehow their system was just off. Lines for all food services even a hot dog stand....maybe that is a hint either hire more people that actually want to work and improve Tachi potential . We did not check out the clubs that are at the Casino, so sorry no comment available. But its great to know that Lemoore has concerts now-I guess Snoop Dog (old school) will be there in a couple weeks.

Not being a casino type, I am writing this review directed purely at the hotel side.  The room provided was absolutely top-notch.  The room layout and decor, although centered on the Tachi theme, was oddly European and reminded me of Le Meridien in Munich (a favorite).  Comfortable bed.  52" plasma TV.  Large luxury shower.  The bathroom amenities were of the highest quality.

I didn't eat at the hotel, however I took constant advantage of the downstairs coffee bar, which served well-crafted beverages.

The feral dog which roams the parking lot provided me with a moment of anxiety, but a peace offering of tri-tip, flung at knuckleball speed, distracted her long enough for me to beat a hasty retreat.

I stayed at the Tachi Palace Hotel & Casino in March with a friend who was picking up her Grandson from Lemoore Naval Air Base, and we had a decent time.  I'm not much of a gambler, and the casino has a HORRIBLE ventilation system for the cigarette smoke ... my gambling money was gone in a very short time. The restaurant was pricey, the service 'eh' but the food was delicious!!!  So, when the opportunity came for me to visit someone about thirty miles from there, I decided to check out the rates, and booked a room for the weekend in May.

Upon arrival we were greeted by the FREE Valet, who promptly called for a Bellman to take our belongings to our room, and drove my vehicle off to park it.  The woman working at check-in was very courteous, although they had us booked in a smoking room, which she graciously changed.  Our room was immaculate!!  It smelled good, looked good, and had a beautiful view overlooking the swimming pool. Our beds were comfortable, free FAST wireless Internet, the shampoo, conditioner and all the other little extras were great too!  They have q-tips, cotton balls, and a shower cap too!!!  AND if you need a sewing kit, they'll send one to your room.  BEST shower I've ever had in a hotel, except the water stinks!  LOL

Their pool area is lovely, with a lot of very nice chaise lounges, tables with chairs and umbrella's, as well as cabana's!  The pool is interesting (see pix), they have a kiddie pool, and their main pool is only five feet deep which is fine, there are two hot tubs and a spa where one can get facials, or a massage, etc.

Our first night we listened to Kareoke as our room was directly above the Wet Bar, however, the music wasn't too loud, and most of the singing was decent, so my Grandchild was able to fall asleep at a fairly reasonable hour.

Our second night, we SUFFERED through someones 40th birthday party which had the WORST DJ EVER!!  At 10 p.m., I called and asked to have our room changed as my Granddaughter could not go to sleep due to the varying volumes at which the DJ played music.  There was no steady volume, it was blasted, to soft, to barely audible to pounding, and he was yelling a lot ... there were only about twenty people at the party.  They graciously moved us two floors up ... STILL just above the Wet Bar. The Bellman told us how sorry he was, and went to talk with the night manager to see if there was a room on the other side of the hotel.  Unfortunately, there was not.  About ten minutes after getting moved, the manager called and offered us a late check out (we had to leave no later than 11 a..m. on Sunday, so it was of no use to us, but a nice offer) which of course I declined.

The staff at the hotel was superior to most hotels I've stayed at, so I'm not sure why all the reviews are so poor.  Even with the noise issues, it wasn't nearly as bad as the other reviewers have stated.  Since not ONE of them posted photos, I will and you can judge for yourselves.

As for the restaurants ... the Coyote Grill has decent food, at a reasonable price but the service SUCKED, it was worse than my first visit a few months before.

The Quail Plume Buffet was so-so, we had a buy one get one free coupon.  We tried for dinner our first night there but the line was so long, and it was about a two hour wait.  The day we left we went down for breakfast.  They had typical breakfast foods out, cold scrambled eggs, greasy, cold bacon and sausage, flavorless potatoes, cold, hard waffles ... and a full buffet of chicken, prime rib, mashed potatoes, rice, a lot of Mexican food, and a GREAT selection of deserts.

Would I stay here again?  Yes!!

For those who claim they can't find parking, try the free Valet and save five bucks to tip them as there is AMPLE parking that way, or you can park out in the back yourself, for free as well, don't be cheap, tip those guys and go have some fun.

The casino is what it is ... a casino, but one where as ALL casinos a person must be TWENTY ONE, not eighteen!! It's smokey, and loud.

There is also a Starbucks type coffee place which also serves ice cream, there are two or three little gift shops in there as well as a snack bar and bingo room.

I say it's good for kids because of the pool and buffet!

I spent the weekend At the Tachi Palace Hotel & Casino with 3 of my girlfriends. it's a desert oasis. We ate, we drank, we danced, but best of all, we soaked in the sun at the pool. I wasn't what to think of the idea of spending my weekend in the middle of the desert but after arriving, i was quite impressed by the aesthetic, service, and overall experience.

During the day we ate at the Coyote Grill, in the evening we hit up the buffet, and in the evening we attended the DEN (the nightclub). It pulls a huge crowd at the DJs were on their A-game, mind you we are used to partying in Hollywood so we were quite impressed.

All in all, a great weekend. i wish I had brought my mother to their poolside brunch. Perhaps next year.

I recently visited this place for the first time and thought that it was a decent place.  It definitely looks older than the other Indian casinos that I've been to, but I thought that the first floor gaming floor looked more like a classic casino than some of the newer places.  I didn't gamble much on the first floor though.  I stayed on the third floor most of the time since it was not smoky and way less busy than the bottom.

The ladies at the rewards club booth were friendly and helpful.  This casino was better than I had expected.

Cotton field, cotton field, pig farm, Indian gaming casino and hotel resort, cotton field, dairy processor, cotton field...

That, folks, is about where Tachi Palace is.

The man and I went to the hotel and resort portion of this complex last night for a company function. We didn't step foot in the casino bit, but the hotel was mighty nice given its location and what I suppose the majority of its patrons must be like. (Hate to sound snobbish here, but who stays in a hotel in the middle of nowhere so they can gamble at a casino in the middle of nowhere? I don't think the majority of the hotel's patrons are business travelers...)

The banquet hall was really quite nice: the caterers and wait staff were friendly; the food was Ok (it was a corporate catered buffet, so I wasn't expecting the Four Seasons); and the sound and lighting were really professionally done. Tachi Palace truly outdid my expectations.

Wow! Tachi is not where you would expect to find an aging Yelper like me, but that's where I was last night.

That is a weird place. Let's just say, smoking is legal on the Reservation.

One weird thing: you smell better after a night of drinking and smoking than you do after a shower in their rooms.

I won't be back, but I'll never forget.

Lemoore does seem to be in the middle of nowhere, so I was surprised that there were so many people out in the middle of nowhere with me. I was hungry and headed through the Central Valley, so I guessed that Tachi would have a buffet. I think you can't get a gaming license unless you agree to provide a buffet for patrons. If that isn't a rule, Schwarzenegger should negotiate for it in the next round of talks.

Anyway, the buffet was pretty good and very reasonable. I think it was $8 or so for a midday lunch. No one seemed to notice the green chile pork fajitas on the side table, but they should have. They have a modern card room upstairs. There were mostly low limit tables and smaller buy-in no-limit games when I visited. No one should be surprised that they have an abundance of slot machines. Their blackjack tables use continuously variable shufflers even at high-stakes tables. That's disappointing because those shufflers really increase the house edge. What was more disappointing was that the staff seemed utterly uninterested that I couldn't get their players club card to work at the tables. The dealer would say it wouldn't scan. I'd ask the pit boss for help. He'd tell me to get a new card. I would stand in line for a new one. Then it would start all over again. They should want me to have one of those cards. Every business seems to want their customers to have loyalty cards, so why not make it easy for your customers? Pit bosses should be solving problems for the players at the tables. If they're unwilling to help with a simple issue, why should I expect that they'll be more helpful if there's a rules dispute or cheating by another party?

If I happen to be hungry and in the area (which seems unlikely - I mean I will definitely be hungry again, but I don't think I'll be in the area anytime soon), I'd visit the buffet, but no more games there for me.

Review of the Quail Grille buffet at Tachi Casino.

Buffet was OK for a casino, better than Hometown Buffet but not as good as some Reno casinos.  They had salad bar, main entrees (pasta, tri-tip, ground beef), mexican (carnitas, bean), cakes, cupcakes, pie, pudding and canned fruit.  The best thing there was the mashed potatoes. The buffet food area is not very big so if there is a crowd, it is a wait.

Soft drinks came with the buffet price, which is nice.  Service  is the best feature there and everyone was very nice.  The place is very small and the tables are crowded in.  They should really expand a bit more.  The tables need the cashier is very smokey from the casino, so if you allergic to smoke ask for a table closer to the food buffet items, of course, if you don't like smoke, don't go to a casino.

I guess you shouldn't expect much from a Indian casino in the middle of nowhere.  Probably go back if I want to go gambling near Visalia.

This review is for the Den nightclub on Friday nights inside the Tachi Palace Hotel & Casino.
I have seen many bands in my day but nothing beats the musical stylings of the tribute band "Mr Rude".

They are now playing the Den nightclub every Friday night.

The new hotel at the casino is breathtaking! It's an architectural marvel!

This casino is right in the middle of nowhere but if your looking for a good getaway checking out Mr Rude is a must.  You can drink and dance your stress away and then you can stagger into your room after lead singer Gary gives you a shot of tequila straight from the bottle! Mas Tequila!

Mr Rude is a tribute band that plays all the coolest hits from the most popular bands old and new. Wether you want to hear Linkin Park, Cheap Trick, Garth Brooks, Velvet Revolver, Guns n Roses, System of a Down,  Metalicca..... the rude boys play all the hits!   They even take requests!

If your looking for a great place to hang out, get some drinks, get your groove on, have fun and hear your favorite rock licks then the Den at Tachi Palace is the place to go.
The black jack is not half bad here either.

You can also catch Mr. Rude at Amigo's Restaurant  in Visalia,CA on saturday nights but I recommend watching them here because Tachi palace has more of a vegas feel plus the hotel is in the same building so there's no need to drink and drive.
