Unfortunately the poor service ruined the experience.  Took forever to get a round of drinks, then even longer for the waiter to come back and get our order.  The table next to us got bread, we did not.   After 30-35 minutes our appetizer came at some time as our food.  Small portions for the price.  Had to ask the girl ( not our waiter) who dropped off our food for some utensils; she had a bit of an attitude.   No one checked or asked if everything was satisfactory.  Waiter finally came back after about an hour to see if we needed anything; we swore he was disappearing in the back to cook the food. Wouldn't recommend it.

I have visited twice now and was impressed both times. I plan to put this place into regular rotation. The bartenders are extremely friendly and were very helpful in suggesting beers from the extensive menu. The lounge area is large, with a massive projector TV (I'll be there for baseball) and the 80's music was a nice touch (but that's just me.) The decor is modern and well thought out. The menu is not cheap, but that's not to be expected. I highly recommend this venue and hope they continue to succeed--they're an asset to downtown Belleville.

Horrible service!  The bartenders were rude and not helpful. The place was empty and we still couldn't get service. Every time we tried to order a beer off the menu we were told they didn't have it and the menu was out dated.

At first we thought this was a nice place but then they wanted to charge us for being two mins late for turning in the pool balls.  I went to talk to management but they basically told me the did not care and said the bill would not to change. I further explained that my party had spent over $100 bucks and the owner told us to leave. Makes you understand why this restaurant has changed names three times in two years. Still same horrible service different name. Ownership is more about money then customer service. Don't bother!!  Go to the Wine Tap instead

It's Saturday night and this Ninja was invited by a friend to join and meet some normal people for dinner and drinks. We chose to go to Taps N Cork located in downtown Belleville. Yes, people there is a downtown in Belleville.
Taps N Cork is located off of the Main street and finding it without the help of modern technology can be challenging. Of course this Ninja had no issues finding it at all. Ninja's have a great sense of directions using stars, migration of birds, the earths magnetic field and Google maps to find anything. It was Ninja's that help locate the secret prison camps in North Korea. You'll never catch a Ninja asking for directions unless his batteries from his mobile device is dead.
Finding parking was challenging on this Saturday night and I had to circle the block several times. We arrived inside and the bar was full with no seats available. The gentleman upfront took our names and informed us there was an hour wait. Normally this is where I pull my Ninja card and I get seated immediately because they know what's good for them but I decided instead to stay incognito and wait like normal people. Fortunately Taps N Cork has a really large lounge area where people can wait to be seated. The lounge area has two pool tables (free) and a series of comfy leather couches and chairs along with bar stools to settle down to while you wait to be seated. A waitress will approach you and offer you an appetizer menu, wine list and a sheet with a selection of 70+ beers that they have on tap. I decided to pass on the wine tonight and instead tried out some of the beers.
After 30-40min waiting we were informed our table was ready. In the restaurant portion of Taps N Cork seating was very limited and hence explains the long wait.
I ordered the Sword Fish and my date with the big hooters and high heels had the salmon. Our friends ordered the lettuce wraps and burger. My only complaint was that the swordfish was overcooked. On this night this Ninja cannot be fully objective in providing you Yelpers an honest review on how his food or beer tasted. At the end of the night out friends offered to pay the bill. This Ninja didn't have to fork out a dime for his dinner and drinks and this does funny things to a Ninja's pallet. Something about free food brings the flavors out of any meal for Ninja's. The consensus in our table was that the food was great. I thought my overcooked swordfish with cheese crusted side vegetables was the best ever! ...i'm talking about the best! ...ever! as if the swordfish got out of the water and overcooked itself straight into my mouth! ...see what I mean?
I will have to come visit again and pay for my own way to let you know exactly what I think about the food.
Taps N Corks gets 4 Ninja stars. (because I didn't pay). Our service was great, the selection of wines and beers were excellent and since this Ninja didn't have to pay the bill that night the food was awesome! extraordinary! phenomenal! ...I need to stop. The 4 stars can easily drop to a three when I go back and have to pay for my own bill so if the manager is smart he'd comp this Ninja's meal.

I love the 75 beers on tap, but my favorites are the s.s. salmon burger and the sirloin / Angus burgers like the double D with double cheese and mushrooms. IMHO, Taps has the best burgers and (clearly) the widest selection of beers in town!
