Well we went back for the Chef's Burger to give this local favorite another try. Â What a terrible disappointment!! Honestly if you like nothing but meat, cheese, fat and carbs, then you might like this place. Â The flavors were good but we felt horrible afterward and truly need to seriously increase the veggie composition (ever heard of tomatoes and lettuce on burgers), decrease the meat composition (I do not need two patties of high fat meat on my burgers), and cut back on the cheese. Â Plus the fries weren't that great and they need to add sweet potato fries. Â Overall they NEED a lesson in health. Â I don't want or need a heart attack but that is exactly what you will enjoy if you become a regular at this place. Â Plus you will feel like crap after you finish eating. Â And we even tried the veggie stir-fry but that tasted like it was swimming in salt and soy sauce (and not much else). Â PLEASE seriously increase the veggies on your plate and decrease the meat. Â GROSS!!
Review Source:Have been meaning to try the Chef's Table but opted for The Tasting Room instead with friends. Â Got there before 6:00 p.m. and it wasn't full but while we were dining, it became quite busy. Â Started with a Mai Tai and I must say, I haven't had a Mai Tai that delicious and perfect in many years! Â My friend asked if they could make a Lemon Drop and they did. Â She loved it as well. Â Moving on to the small plates, we ordered the Chorizo Flatbread. Â Delicious. Â Paper thin crust and mucho flavor! Â The mac and cheese with Andouille sausage was very tiny with two large pieces of sausage on top of the bowl. Â The sausage was extremely dry but tasty. Â We thought the amount of mac and cheese was too small for the price but it had a nice spicy flavor throughout. Â Ordered the Bedouin balls (not what they're called, but it will do!) which were sausage balls. Â Very small, very dry. Â Meh. Â Moved on to dessert, which was brought out by our great server, Kaitlin. Â My husband and I had the pecan pie, the peanut butter thing and a carrot cake shot. All were very good. Â I'd go back but I still think the prices are too high for what you receive. Â Except the Mai Tais!! Â Great atmosphere.
Review Source:Interesting, I was sure I had written a review for this establishment back in October. I will write a second it seems!
I went here for a romantic night with my boyfriend. It was very last minute so we were unable to go to the actually Chefs Table side. The food we had was amazing. The cheese plate was lovely and the pairings were wonderful. I must say I'm not a fan of blue cheese and this one was very strong. Much to strong for me but anyone who likes quality blue cheese would love it.
We also enjoyed the fries in duck fat. The fries were good but nothing much different then the norm, but the aioli that accompanied it completely changed the flavor profile. I was very impressed with it and I would order the fries again simply for the aioli!
We also had the Chorizo Flat Bread. This was amazing. My boyfriend even said he had not had Chorizo this good since he was a child. Perfectly paired with the ingredients and just simply amazing.
We will be returning soon!
