My husband and I stay in a campground in Mays Landing during summer weekends. Unfortunately, our campground only has DirecTV, so sometimes we miss Phillies games. We decided to check out Testa's last night and watch the game, have a few beers and grab a bite. The bar itself wasn't bad. It was really clean, and the bartenders and waitresses were extremely friendly and welcoming. It looks like they have great specials all week long, which I always like to see.

My husband and I ordered the appetizer combo to share. I saw an "insane" sauce on the menu, so I asked for some on the side to try with the wings (and everything else). The food itself wasn't bad, typical bar Munchies. We were a little confused as to why there was only 1 potato skin tough. That was a little strange. I mean, people usually order appetizer combos to share. And it's tough to share just 1 potato skin. The wings were pretty good though. Next time I'll probably just get a full order of wings. And the "insane" sauce was delicious. I didn't find it to be as hot as it was hyped up to be, but it's tough to burn me too badly with hot sauces. The important thing was, it tasted really good. You could definitely tell it was house made, and it really tasted like they threw some habanero peppers in the blender with a little vinegar and that was it. They get their 3rd star just on the hot sauce.

I could have done without the music that was being played. The crowd was pretty mixed, but probably no one younger than 25 or 26. However, the music was really for a much younger crowd. It was a mix of some of the worst hip hop I've heard in the last 5 years. My husband and I might have stuck around a little longer, but we couldn't take the music anymore.

I just moved to this town (althought it is my husband's home town) and I feel like the wife on Green Acres.  Anyway, I come to Testas and it's a great place - NFL ticket - a bunch of TV's - pool table - music - and nice patrons and bartenders who will talk to us when they're not too busy.  Clean, good beer, and the food looks great but I haven't eaten here yet.  They always have specials written on a board - and happy hours most weekdays from 4:30.  I have only been here in the late afternoon so I can't say how it is on the weekend nights.

If no one can find me I'm usually there.

Not a bad bar, the bar tender was friendly and energetic, the food smelled good though we did not partake. The crowd on a late night Saturday was 30 something crowd and there was a DJ playing old hip hop too loud. The atmosphere may have not been my kind of thing but it was not a bad place. Probably quieter on off peek hours. Price were cheap for peak hours though, 2.50 a pint is nice.
