It was a little odd that when we ate here, we were the only customers. Â (On a wednesday night in late March). Â However, their sushi was amazing, as was the Thai tea, and the tom yum soup. Â That was the 1st time I ever had tom yum soup, and I'm addicted. Â I wish I lived locally so I could get more of that soup. Â You HAVE to try it! You'll be hooked!
Review Source:I'm disappointed to have to change my rating of this restaurant but our last experience left much to be desired. While in NH this past weekend, we made our usual stop for sushi and dinner. We started by ordering the White Mountain Rolls (as always) and two thai iced teas. The thai iced teas came back looking very milky but sometimes they appear that way until you mix them. After mixing them, they still looked very light and tasted very weak and milky. We asked the server to add more tea (for anyone who knows, the Thai tea is very strong by itself) and she confirmed that she would add more tea. When she brought them back, they looked exactly the same...and they tasted just the same too. My husband told her that they still didn't taste good and asked if we could just get soft drinks instead. She took our soft drink order, went to take the iced teas off the table and then changed her mind and left them there...for the rest of dinner. As I suspected, they were still included on the bill. $6 for two awful tasting drinks that didn't get touched and no effort by the restaurant to try and correct the situation. If you're going to leave them on the table, the least you could do is take them off the bill...customer service?? Well due to the lack thereof, they may have lost these two customers. The food was also lackluster that evening, so I'm sure we will think hard about visiting the next time we're in the area.
Review Source:We ordered take out after confirming (in person, with menu in hand) that this location was affiliated with Thai Smile in Plymouth, NH. Â The food that my husband brought home was dissimilar in appearance as well as quality and taste from the Plymouth locale. I did not eat my soft shell crab tempura or the crab rangoon appetizer. Â The crab had been pulled apart (as opposed to the whole crab presentation), and half of it was missing. Â The crab rangoon looked like the freezer variety from a local grocery store's frozen food section, unlike those presented at Thai Smile's, and I did not eat them. Â What a disappointment for Valentine's Day! Â Nevermore.
Review Source:This place honest to god might have the best Chinese, Thai, and sushi I have ever had. I have eaten at so many Oriental restaurants in all my years and this place is a hidden gem. Their quality of food and presentation is awesome.
The restaurant itself is somewhat outdated and looks like its "under construction", however it has been like that since day 1.
During busy times of the year like holidays (New Years, MLK Weekend, Tourist times) they are a bit underemployed and lack help.
Forget about all that. Their food is AWESOME!!! I go there everytime I in Lincoln, which is quite often.
Will be back over and over again
We really like this place. This is a family owned business and they are always working hard. Service and food may be a bit slow when the restaurant is full but the food is very good. We love the pad garlic, pad eggplant, drunken noodles and pad Thai. It's BYOB, if you forget to bring wine or beer, the liquor store is in the next plaza. It is a pretty cheap option for dinner in Lincoln.
Review Source:The staff are very friendly and accomodating. Â There is definately a language barrier, but they were very patient with us and we had many laughs. Â
I called ahead for a large party, Â we're talking 15. Â They definately are not used to big parties. Â We ordered most everything on the menu. Â The sushi was ok, the pad thai was definately not my favorite. Â The green curry was to die for and the Korean beef was amazing! Â Definately worth writing home about. Â
Did i mention it is BYOB? Â I highly reccommend Thai 9 and Sushi Bar!
mediocre at best. I just got take out consisting of veggie pad thai, fried dumplings, and a sea weed salad. the center of the sea weed salad was a block of ice. This is pure laziness of the server not checking. The dumplings were good, with the dark sauce. The pad thai lacked flavor, too many noodles, too little veggies, and veggies over cooked. Although not their best night, I would still give this place another shot and order different items.
Review Source:The staff does not speak English well so be patient. Â A choose-your-own ingredient mix-and-match menu. Â The food met my expectation. Â I definitely had better. Â Mediocre presentation. Â Very fast delivery. Â Quant decor. Â Homely flavor. Â Due to the area it was pretty decent but if it was in NYC, it's a 2 star.
We ordered Green Curry with Beef and Pra Ram with Chicken. Â The curry was mildly flavorful and the Pra Ram peanut sauce was delicious and nutty. Â I could tell everything was prepared fresh. Â Even the ginger salad sauce!
Good considering that in this area there aren't a lot of good restaurants for city foodies. The Pad Thai was the best dish, followed by the beef macadamia. We had three other dishes that were OK, but really salty and satay that was so-so. I would be a little more flexible, but the prices were what I pay in Boston and for $70 expected it to be a bit better.
Review Source:This place was the worst place I've ever been for thai food. Â The service was just plain awful, and the food was completely tasteless. Â It was also extremely expensive. Â It was 70$ for our whole meal for 4 people. Â I could spend 20$ at a different joint and get enough food for 2 nights, and no, not McDonalds (hahahah). Â It was the worst place I've been to in a long time. Â Hands down, worst food I've ever had in a long time. Â I will never return.
Review Source:This place was tasty but little overpriced for the quantity of food.
My boyfriend had the dumplings + they were 4 itty bitty bites but TASTY dumplings--- so good that he had a second order. I had the massaman curry and it was delicious--peanut curry delight. The décor was very cute + the menu was adorable--- someone has an eye for design!
If you want quality over quantity this is your kinda place.
I can't believe I'm saying this, but it's true - Thai 9, which is way the hell up in Lincoln, NH, has the best Thai food on the planet. Â
The menu is extensive and the dishes, such as the Basil Fried Rice and the Mango Curry, are colorful, fresh and smell like HEAVEN. Â One word of caution if you like spicy food - I had the Yellow Curry and asked for 'medium' spice - it was hot as hell. Â But worth it. Â :)
The restaurant is run by an adorable family and the service is always attentive. Â They're a welcome sight in Lincoln, where your dining options are limited to pizza joints, tavern food, or the overpriced, overrated 'Dinner Train'. Â
One other word of caution - Thai 9 doesn't serve alcohol. Â The good news? Â It's BYOB, and at no extra charge. Â We often splurge for dinner here after a long day hiking, and I'll grab a random assortment of cheap beers from the fridge to bring with us. Â While it's a shame to pair such exquisite food with a Bud Light, the option to BYOB is great. Â I love showing up to this quaint, classy little restaurant with a paper bag full of brewskis - Â it makes for a true "White Mountain" experience. Â But the food is out of this world.
