Not a bad place to take a date. I heard they have a pop eyes now.

More of a lush open field than an 'amphitheatre' per say; still an incredibly enjoyable concert venue with especially polite and nice patron base going to shows (the few ones that they have here).

I have attended one event here: Arcade Fire/LCD Soundsystem. I even ran into Richard Reed Perry in the Dinosaur museum before the show.

They do search you intensively before entering, but the important thing is that they let you keep your shoes on (SEE Marquee Theatre review). Staff for shows, which are brought on from outside, are grizzly and not what one would picture for Utah; permanent staff from Thanksgiving Point is incredibly 'Utah'. Almost exhaustively nice.

Kids queue early in UT, in the summer, in the freezing cold, anytime, so if your intention is to be first in queue you have to go nuclear (preceding night camp). - E
