Thirsty's Tavern Inc

Great Bar Food.  Awesome fries.  Had a mushroom burger from thirties as we were building our shop next door.  Really quick ordering time.

I'd venture to say that this bar has been around longer than I've been alive. It's pretty much a staple in the area and this was my first time going.

It's absolutely a dive bar, but it was decent.

I didn't have any food but I was pleased with the fact that the bartender took care of me. I askd for a Sam Boston and he told me he'd have to tap a new keg. Ok, no problem. A few moments later he came back and was level with me that it wasn't pouring right and he believed it was a bad seal, etc. I said it wasn't a problem and went with Summer Ale instead.

I used my card and was told there's a $10 minimum (also fine) and proceeded to drink and laugh with my group. We ended up leaving before I ordered a 2nd drink so I went to pay and asked him to just run it for 2 beers since we were leaving and joked that I'd take a to-go cup though. Lucky for me and awesome of him, he only ran my card for $8.

I'm only in the area once a month or so but I'd make it a point to stop in here again. Based on the experience I had, I had to give 5 stars. There was no reason not to!

Scared for my own safety when I walked into this place. If you don't mind rubbing elbows with folks who might as well be draped in New York Giants gear screaming "Go Big Blue, this is our year. We got Eli Manning Bro.. Giants all da way baby we got this bro" then put this on the list for Sunday Football. Single handedly the best cheeseburger I have had in a long time.. Make sure to order your fries well done.
