This coffee shop is family owned business. It looks like an house since I think it used to be. This place feels great, the people are friendly. The energy of this place is very loving. The cookies and creame blended drink is also amazing.

I realize this is a charity organization, which is nice and all, but the coffee was terrible! I ordered a cafe au lait from the drive through and they informed me that they had ran out of drip and had to make more. After waiting awhile I was really exited for my coffee only to find that it was really bitter and more like black coffee with a few drops of milk. Where does a coffee drinker in Orem go for a decent cup??

With all the coffee shops springing up in the area, this is probably the least appealing I have been to.  The woman making our drinks freely admitted she wasn't sure how to make a Frappuccino,  She attempted it, but it turned out quite poorly.  We also ordered a hot chocolate, which she preceded to make using Stephan's Hot Chocolate mix.  If I wanted that, I could have made it myself at home!  The place is a dive, but not in a quaint or hip way.  In fact, the place looked filthy, especially behind the counter.  I applaud their charitable efforts, but that is not enough to endure going back to this place.

I'm glad I have a lot more than the quality of the coffee for ranking Mercy House. The coffee is standard coffee house, everything else is really good.

Even if this was just another coffee place, it's deserving of your business because it's not Starbucks. I'll get the coffee out of the way. The double espresso comes in a full size cardboard cup even if you drink it there. It's several ounces, not fully extracted, bitter and with no crema. It's everything an espresso is not supposed to be. The barista had a couple nice tampers available, but just pushed the portafilter against the tamper on the grinder. No wonder there isn't any extraction. My wife got a latte. A plain latte. Somehow a plain latte needs two pumps of various flavorings. That's not right. OK, coffee geek part over. If you like the standard drinks at coffee houses, they do a good job of flavored coffee.

I'll not go on about their mission. It's good. The place is a religious based business. However, they don't hit you over the head with anything. This very non-religious person felt no issues. I'm happy that my money will support their cause, but I'd go anyway. It's a nice place.

The owner is a really nice guy. They just started selling soup as well. He gave us a cup to share. It was excellent. The price is really good. The place has free wifi, some tables, a room with a comfortable sofa and chairs. Between the excellent soup, coffee that can match anyplace in town, a really relaxed atmosphere and nice owner I'm a fan.

    Great coffee amazing cause!

Okay so Mercy House is a new coffee shop in north Orem. I've been going for about a month now. Not only is their coffee and chai good but the proceeds go to a great cause! I think like almost half goes to rescue, educate, and help victims of human trafficking.

It's good to know that every cup of coffee I buy I'm helping save children in Asia. Everybody should get their coffee here!!! lol...yes cause I said so ;)

Seriously though check it out and plant your little seed while sipping on your favorite drink! Peace
