I went for drinks here with a friend and my brother. We sat outside and it wasn't too crowded. I think we were there on a non-football night. There were two bartenders- one a very young woman and the other an older (well, older than the woman) man. He was excellent- you could tell he knew what he was doing. He gave my brother a strong pour of Jameson's and was quick and friendly. The young woman was a bit flakey. She was polite but not a great bartender. She forgot about us and just seemed like she'd rather not deal with us. Maybe a bad night for her... anyway, I can see how this place could get really wild and loud once school starts and football season gets in full swing. I enjoyed it when I went- and I would go again after first checking the football schedule.

We arrived promptly at noon on Saturday, which is when they opened.  They were ready for a fun football filled Saturday. The restaurant was clean and the staff was happy, readying the tvs, etc.  We ordered hamburgers and it was spot on delicious.  Really one of the best I've had in Ktown. The fries were really good, salty but just right.  The server was the right kind of friendly and knowledgeable.  We'd go back.  I'm rating it with five stars because I'm not comparing it to Ruth Chris - this sports bar was spot on, clean, friendly and efficient staff, ready for the busy day ahead and they served us a delicious made to order lunch.  That's 5 stars.

You need to understand what you're getting into here. It's primarily a bar, with lots of open and nearly open seating. Drinks in disposable plastic cups and food in plastic baskets. That said, the food is simple, but very good. Burgers, nachos, etc. Great location in the heart of Rocky Hill and a lot of fun.

Beware. Too many loud Frat boys and the bartenders are not attentive. Don't bother.  I wish it was better. Tin Roof has a great patio but it's not worth going when the service is awful,

Great patio, good drink specials. We sat on the patio for drinks and a snack. I needed a lighter, but the bar didn't have matches (what bar doesn't have matches?) Food was decent but not as good or exciting as they seem to advertise it is. Kinda had high hopes for this place, kinda blah for what I expected. I'll definitely go back and give it another shot, if only to enjoy drinks on the patio.

    Rocky Hill location-

Quite frankly there is nothing that is spectacular about this place or their food.
However--they have a large outside area & a lot of live music, friendly service and good deals on beer.

The Chicken wings, which they call famous and that famously confuses me, were not that great.
The sauce was a regular sauce to be expected on so-so, kindachewey chicken wings.

The special quesadilla we ordered in a wheat tortilla had avocado (a tiny bit), sundried tomatoes (a tiny bit), chicken (quite a bit) & cheese (quite a bit).
It was a decent portion size but once again, we're up against the "not putting enough of the promised delicacy ingredients in" syndrome.
Too bad because it tasted really, really good dipped in sour cream and the special, smoky (albeit liquidy) salsa that came alongside.

The tables outside seemed to be kept pretty clean, a shocking surprise for an outdoor seating area in a casual restaurant in Knoxville. Perhaps it was because it was Sunday night and not that busy outdoors. Perhaps they are just good workers. I'll have to go back another night to know for sure.
