Tiny's Restaurant & Lounge

This was lots of fun on a Wednesday evening when they have open mike and pick up groups playing blues. The music was the best part.  Very friendly customers some of the women asked me to dance, and I did. Great bar maid, good drinks. Came for the music and enjoyed the whole experience.

Tiny's is one of those places that harkens to the days of supper clubs with ambiance and wonderful food. The Northern New Mexican cuisine is as fine as you'll find anywhere in this state. The wait staff of helpful, friendly and enjoyable to be around. Try their homemade chips with their homemade guacamole followed by the homemade chili relleno or those amazing homemade chicken guacamole tacos. It's also a fun place for live music and even trying one's hand a karaoke. I have to give this unique place that has served Santa Feans and visitors for three generations my highest rating for all those reasons above, plus, hey, there is even plenty of free parking. I love this place and I even like owner J.R. a lot too!

If you find that you've been a bit too chipper or cheery lately, stop in to Tinys and get back to reality. Nothing like a few minutes at this place to make you want slightly suicidal.  I went a few weeks ago to see a "band." It wasn't like torture, it WAS torture.
