Tomahawk Room

I accidentally stumbled upon this place while trying to find something to do in this small town for a wedding. They had awesome microbrews here (Stupid of me to think Chippewa wouldn't have anything like San Diego, which is one of the microbrew capitals). Beer was so delicious and the staff was very friendly. Did you know you can get a growler here??  I thought they only did that in Stone Brewery in San Diego.

We also came here after the wedding and we danced here and had lots of fun with the locals and wedding guests.

Clean, local and a great selection of beer on tap, plus bottled beer.

If this place is a dive it's the classiest one I have ever been to.

The bar is gorgeous, the looming dark mahogany bar is covered with a great variety of taps (yes, that includes a lot of Leinies) and is surrounded by red bar stools.  There are circular booths that are covered with the same red vinyl. This bar reminds me of Nye's in NE but is smaller and way more cozy.  There will be some locals there to chat with at any given time and the bartenders are all friendly and quick to pour.

I don't know if you have ever gone to a small town bar in WI before but the prices are amazing! Everything is cheap! Wisconsinites are masters of the long pour as well.  All you need is $10 and transport across the St Croix and you can get good and wasted.
