Not many options in town. Â It did the trick. Â We had a family event in town and ten of us hit the place during lunch in wave 1 and another eight in wave 2 about an hour later.
The staff handled the surge with no issues. Â We had a bit of everything on the menu and found it all tasty. Â Burgers were decent. Â BBQ was decent.
It was busy so likely a town favorite.
I think you could meet the entire town in one night at this place. Stopped in for dinner on a Thursday night.
Here comes my bar food addictions...
Wings were good. Served hot. Good, if fairly standard buffalo sauce.
Nachos were... well... strange. I love nachos. If you've read my reviews you know I try the nachos pretty much everywhere. Well, these were unusual. Instead of cheese and meat separately, it appears that they mix the meat and cheese sauce together. Seems like a good idea, but the problem is, the end mixture better resembles an orange gravy than cheese sauce. In fact, I had some doubts about whether I was eating cheese sauce or some gravy with orange food coloring.
(And the big TV was off.)
It's a nice looking bar with interesting decor. In the front is a big rear-projection TV that doesn't look like it's used. In the far back is a back room with pool tables. There's also a CD jukebox, an old Silver Strike machine, and a cool angular tabletop MegaTouch machine.
Even though it was getting late on this Saturday, the bar crowd skewed towards the silver set.
This looks like a good bar, unfortunately the conversations at a table behind us got so obnoxious that we couldn't enjoy it and had to hurry ourselves so we could leave.
