  Im not really sure how this place is even still open. For a while I actually didn't know it was. With that being said its far beyond that of a dive bar. I love dive bars. But this is pretty much just a disaster. The patrons vary, but always seem to include underage wait staff from multiple local bars smoking in the pool room (they're still wearing their uniforms! Hello, shirt inside out if you don't have a spare! Your boss would not be happy...plus are you even old enough to buy cigarettes??), meth users and skeezy X dealers that may try to jump you later. Im all about a good party, but I really wonder where these people come from, not locally, that's for sure.
  
  Visiting tips include: buy bottled beverages and leave your valuables at home. And if you hate smoke, the underage girls still smoke inside here too. Free pool is nice though. If you can cut through the nonventilated haze. And keep an eye on your purse. Im not kidding.

  The Tropicana, for myself and my friends, is one of those places that is not on the top of your list when the evening begins, but as it gets closer and closer to last call, you almost wanna stop in there just to see what might be going on.
  
  Because you never know...you might have a good time. Or you might not. It's definitely one of those hit-or-miss kind of places, and draws a late-night crowd.
  
  The building itself is fairly non-descript. It shares a parking lot with a smoke shop, and a small sign on the roof is your only clue that you are looking at a sports bar.
  
  The atmosphere is definitely unpretentious and laid-back. It isn't super-spacious, but let's face it: at the end of the night, after you've already had a few, it doesn't really matter!
  
  Every town needs a bar like the Trop.
