Turkey Inn

Ive always threatened to check this place but never made it out until Mother's Day this year.
Sounds odd, but thats just how we roll...My mom, sis, and I stopped in here for a few drinks before meeting up with more fam later on. Met Ray who I guess is a manager? Super awesome guy...let us play some stuff on the jukebox, gave my mom a flower for Mothers Day, and chit-chatted for a bit. Other patrons were awesome as well.

The main reason I am bothering to leave a review is because I asked Ray where they get their produce for cocktails (limes/lemons/etc) and he said Costco. I asked if he would be willing to try and stay local by encouraging people to bring in items from their yards and he said he would love that! (I am getting pretty hardcore about staying local/sustainable/yadda/yadda)

So, peeps...share your wealth! If you have a few pieces of fruit to spare, maybe you can get a free drink out of it. Dont quote me on that, but its worth a shot :)

Its a small bar, with lots of Ramona locals. Drinks are good and throw back priced. The Bartender can really entertain with some big tricks while pouring drinks! Fun but expect some charachters to pass through...LOL!

This place is exactly what you would expect. Local bar in a rural location.  Nice people, cool not too loud.
