Twigs Bistro and Martini Bar

So sad you're gone.  Had many great times there.  The food and service were always outstanding.  I understand it was a "training store" but we always enjoyed it.

I rarely ever give 1 star to such a nice restaurant, but I must be true to myself and this review. Honestly, prior to stepping foot in here, my bf and I thought we were totally underdressed. We pulled into the small lot and were confused whether the place was opened or not coz there were only a few cars, and the large wooden front door doesn't exactly help (nor is as inviting).

But here's really why I decided to give it 1 star: Between clumpy undercooked pappardelle pasta, refrigerator-cold stuffed mushrooms which were supposed to be warm, uncooked salmon, it makes sense why the restaurant was 90% empty when we dined around dinner time. That means of our 4 items we ordered (excluding dessert), 3 of them were unsatisfactory. We told our waiter, and he came back at the end of the meal with "good for 1 free app on your next visit" carved in blue ink on the front of their glossy business card. Not sure if we will have a next visit, however.

Honestly, It was such a disappointment to eat here, especially after having dined at the Twigs on Regal, which served much,much higher quality food. If only the quality of the food at this location matched the nice atmosphere of the restaurant itself, it would no doubt be as busy as its other locations. If you are thinking of dining at a Twigs or heard good things about it, please do your stomach and your wallet a favor and go to its other locations, you won't regret it.
