A local "mom and pop" type restaurant serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner. This restaurant has been a local hang out for decades. I remember my grandpa used to go every Saturday for a piece of homemade coconut cream pie and a cup of coffee.
I went there today with my family (a group of 8 and a baby) for breakfast. The restaurant was packed. We waited a good half hour for seats and another half hour to eat. Unfortunately, I can't really say it was worth the wait. My scrambled eggs were still slimy and undercooked, and most everyone else's was lukewarm. The server was as good as she could be. Very attentive to refills even with all the other tables she had.
My past experiences with this restaurant keeps me coming back. Their food is homestyle comfort food and their pie is tasty!
