  My husband and I stopped here to eat on the way to Az. To tell the truth we were not expecting much. To our surprise the food was great. I had one of the best breakfast burritos I have ever had, don't remember what hubby had but he did clean his plate. The inside is quaint and service was good, food great.

  Green chile chicken enchiladas were excellent.  Creamy, rich green chile sauce.  Fresh long grain rice, clean simple pinto beans.  Try the red chile too if you're feeling saucy.  Fresh, homemade flavor. Plus leave your mark on the wall.

  I stopped at this little place while traveling to Arizona.  The food was so delicious and fresh I couldn't get over it.  It's a little hole in the wall and the server was gracious and took good care of us.  Some of the best food I've ever eaten and I can be a food snob.   Highly recommended.

  This is a tiny little place with swamp cooling. That said, other than a fly or two (expected for this part of the country), the place was fine. The chili was fantastic and the non-chili food was OK. If you like chili, eat here.

  I've passed through Hatch on several occasions, and always make it a point to stop for green chile. Having already tried the bigger places in town, I thought I'd give Valley Cafe a try.
  
  I ordered the green chile enchiladas, which did not disappoint. The sopaipillas were also very good. Everything was homemade, fresh, and the service couldn't have been more personable, given my visit was late morning on a weekday.
  
  I highly recommend Valley Cafe and would definitely make a stop again!
