Their lunch is where it's at. $4.99 or something similar for several different choices such as burger and fries, quesadilla, chicken fingers, etc. All very, very good. I recommend the burger and fries. AWESOME! I probably wouldn't go here at night unless you want a drink spilled on you by a frat guy.
Review Source:Was looking for a quick bite while passing through Milledgeville, Â Â Didn't see the restaurant name from the street, just a sign that said 'pub', but it seemed to have a pretty busy carry-out business, so decided to give it a shot.
Had the atmosphere of an old converted dry goods store. Â There was an upstairs area, which was closed, so we sat in a booth on the main level. Â Ordered a couple of the gourmet burgers. Â Both were cooked exactly to our order, and were delicious.
Only from reading the menu did we find out the restaurant's name was "Velvet Elvis", but to our disappointment, they do not actually have a Velvet Elvis  :-(     That's why only 4 stars instead of 5.
The Velvet Elvis more so a bar than it is a restaurant. But what a great bar it is! It is always packed late nights with college kids and locals satisfying their thirst!
I've only dined here once and the food was ok. But it was chicken fingers, so it is hard to mess those up. They do have some great specials from the bar and because it is in Milledgeville the drink prices are always cheap compared to here in Atlanta.
The service here has always been pretty good and they also have a nice patio out back.
