Agree with the reviews about the high end cocktails, but there were two bartenders this past Tuesday night who were so condescending that we almost left. Â Four of us sat at the bar for a drink before dinner (we are mid-30s to 40s) and we almost left before our drinks were served. Â The woman bartender tried to tell me I didn't know what a manhattan was (uh, yeah, I do) and the chubby bartender waited around for us to tell him how great his cocktail was. Â It was good -- not great. Â They explained to us they were "artisans" and make everything by hand, so "it might take a little longer" -- which it did. Â I don't need a lecture, I want my drink. Â Honestly, walk next door to the Hyde in the Bellagio -- nice people and an awesome view of the fountain show.
Review Source:Easily one of my favorite bars in Vegas. Not a biggest fan of the Cosmo (most of the time it's a 'can I get a water and hold the attitude?' kind of place for me) but this bar takes the cake. Their cocktail list is amazing and reasonably priced by Vegas standards. They have a great selection of liquors and can accommodate a lot of drinks that other places that refer to their bartenders as "mixologists" cannot. It is just off the lobby in the Cosmo so you get a lot of people passing through but there's almost always several seats available.
Review Source:I seriously love coming to this bar. Â It's our go to place when people want to fancy themselves some top notch drinks on the fly. Â VERY creative mixologist (the ones I've tried).
Our go to favorite is Old Fashions (yup we getting so old we ordering us some old fashions is right). Â
One particular bar tender that makes the most creative Old Fashioned drinks, hands down is Lily. Â If you watch her make drinks, you can see all the creativity and love she puts in those drinks. Â IF you are at the bar she will ask you what you normally drink, what things you are allergic to, if you like sweet drinks, etc, etc. Â She really puts her creative mind to work. Â When she is all done, she even tells you what she put in it so you can allow your taste buds to enjoy the different flavors. Â
You soooo do not guzzle it, you are to drink and love that creative drink back :) Â I'm a fan!
