If you would like a cheap drink after Six Flags, go here. Â It's a sports/dive bar, and I understood why there were $.50 drinks during happy hour when I ordered a beer (Miller Light). Â We weren't there for happy hour, so a draft pint each of Miller Light and Yuengling were $5--total. Â That's truly not bad at all, but it did remind me why I rarely drink mass-produced light beer--it tastes like old water. Â The Yuengling was fine.
Edit: okay, maybe I was a bit harsh on this place. Â It's a dive bar. Â We walked in and the bartender came by immediately and was friendly. Â The beer was ice cold. Â It was cheap. Â There's a huge patio where you could smoke if you want. Â Wine is Yellowtail. Â So for what it is, it's great. Â We didn't go on a Friday night or during the height of the summer. Â The place is decked out with Halloween gear (including moving mannequins) and for kitsch value, it was good. Â Alfred E. Newman's head has replaced Paul Bunyan's head near the entrance (Paul's head was transformed into Dracula). Â
There's paintball somewhere nearby too. Â I have never done it, not really being the type to want to shoot my friends, well, why not if that's what you like. Â This is a strange little food court/strip mall with great Mexican. Â The kitschy part of me adores that places like this still exist. Â Next time, however, we'll try Chicken Holiday, probably after a beer at Vince's.
