  Local bar trying for a club feel.   Crowd was younger, music was loud.  Drinks were pretty cheap and food is pretty good.  The crowd looked a bit seedy so I pushed on, the only place in town with a bouncer so it appears fights are a regular occurrence.

  Sports City is the most urban night-spot in all of Delavan. I hear they changed their name from VIP to deter the hooligans, but you'll still have that at this kind of place. The DJ is pretty good, and the dance floor is a good size. It's a younger crowd, especially late-night, mostly Delavan "regulars."

  Note- The VIP was recently sold and is now called Sports City. Virtually all of my comments below still apply.
  
  This place was professionally remodeled a few years ago and it one of the sharpest places in the county. Decor is sort of an industrial look - super high exposed ceilings, brick walls, flat-screen TV's everywhere you look. It's a very attractive space. This is primarily a bar but it does have a full-menu of very reasonably priced items. Happy hours are especially a bargain - burgers that are normally around $7 are only $2 with great fries. The Friday fish-fry (or baked) is good - $7.95 or you can have salmon (above average) for only $8.95 - with a salad! Attractive servers/bartenders. This is a popular place. My wife and have not been here past 10pm in the evening. They have had some problems with unruly guests here later in the evening but I believe they have addressed the situation. This place would fit in anywhere - South Beach, Chicago....L.A. - it really is worth checking out.
