Von Scheidt Brewing Company, LLC

The Von Scheidt sit down restaurant/ brewery at the above address is no more (closed), but they are still brewing and selling to local businesses.  I tried the amber ale at a local sandwich shop and it had some off flavors and tasted like bad/bitter home brew.    Maybe it was a bad keg, but I probably wouldn't order another glass unless I could taste test it first.

oh god,... stay away. straight up garage beer here. wasn't impressed with any beers here, lucky for them i had just gotten out of a car from california and was crazy thirsty for a pint.

Von Scheidt? We were thinking more like Von Sh*t. Although the people there were extremely friendly, business aside from the presumably regular customers was very slow. They were hurting, and it was easy to see why. There was some questionable entertainment going on that was comparable to listening to an elementary aged student practice plunking away at the piano. We were confused if he was just a staple there that everyone is used to and no longer hears, or if he was seriously considered the "live music" we saw advertised. Unfinished songs and trailing off words. Plink, plink...plunk. We chugged our beers, said "no thanks" to dinner, paid, and left hurriedly. We felt a bit embarrassed for the owners thinking how much potential they could have, but what they were completely ignoring that customers might not like..
