once upon a time (and for many years thereafter), this was a local bar.  so local, in fact, that when i came home one winter break from nyc and tried to get a drink there, i was refused service because i had an out-of-state license!  yeah - that shit really happens.

it ain't like that no more.  it's still mostly locals i would speculate (since i only go in with my friends and that's what wheeze guys is), but i see some husky hats and t-shirts cavorting at the bar as well.

one of the few places around you can play shuffle board.  which is important to some people.  and if you are one of them be forewarned - the board is not well-maintained.  like, if you are training for the shuffle board world championship or something, don't play here.  

but if you are just looking for something to do while you're drinking your yuengling and waiting for the pool table, it's all good.
