Waldo's

Waldo's is... Well it's Waldo's. Good selection of on tap beer and 50 cent Taco Tuesdays on plastic chairs. I haven't been there later than 9 and hear that it really does change, but during the day and evening, you can't beat the quality for the price.

I want to give it 2 stars but I feel the food is just to darn tastey to do that.  The bar is getting pretty divey and I think they forgot how to wash things completely.  Tables are often sticky.  The windows are filthy.  The food however is great, you can't go wrong with a burger and fries here and I always walk away full and satisfied with my food.  I just wish they would clean the place up better.

I usually eat here in the early evening for dinner--I'm not much of a bar person, as crowds of drunken people scare me.

There's a totally different atmosphere in the late afternoons/early evenings at Waldo's than there is on the late night weekends.

They have a wonderful selection of microbrews, which are listed on "the big board." They also recently started offering different sizes of beer glasses, straying from only offering the traditional pint.

The waitstaff is awesome, and the food is reasonably priced and very delicious. The burgers are made of half-pound patties, and very filling. If you get the beer-battered fries, be sure to eat them fast as they are much better hot.

They also share a kitchen with Tobikos, the sushi place next door--very good sushi for an inland location.
