Some tasty burgers!!!

The Waring Country Store (not to be confused with the Waring General Store across the street) is a great mom and pop lunch stop in the Hill Country. The small footprint is made up for by amazing burgers--go all the way with jalapeños. In addition to the tasty burgers, WCS also offers other lunch treats, including chicken salad, and a variety of desserts. There are a few tables inside, as well as some tables and chairs outside to suit your fancy, but they also offer take out... Although don't be in a rush, these burgers are made with care and might take a few minutes to be ready.

Lunch is served 11-2 each day, and the store is open from 10-5.

I can't wait to return... Next time, I'll save room for dessert.
