  So since the the other reviewer has not had breakfast here I figured I would fill in the gap for those of you who are curious.
  
  The folks at the Wellington Deli are really great people. I actually think the breakfast fare here is better than lunch.  Don't get me wrong their llunch is very nice, I'm just a bit more of a breakfast person.  I have no idea how they get their coffee, espresso and late' drinks so perfect but they always hit a home run in this department. The breakfast menu is not huge, I highly recommend their specialty omelets and scrambles that they do which are really unique, flavorful and can only found there.
  
  This is a great place to stop by when you are on the road less traveled in the Northern Nevada area. I think you will enjoy just about everything they have to offer, and if you want something that is not on the menu they will make almost anything you want that they have the ingredients for, a nice touch if you ask me.

  This is a very quaint little place in a very quiet little town - WAY off the beaten path.  Nice people and good, basic food.
  
  Note that I'm not claiming fabulous or exotic or unusual food, but just good, home-made-like sandwiches, salads and desserts.  It's not worth a special trip - unless you would enjoy a drive through desert and agricultural land - but if you're passing through, stop by for lunch.  
  
  1 sandwich + 2 desserts + 2 iced teas + tax = $22.10 (July 2009)  
  
  Note that they do NOT take credit or debit cards; we paid by check, but we're semi-locals.
  
  We enjoyed sitting on the patio in the shade, eating lunch, chatting with the owner, and watching the folks of Wellington, Nevada (pop. ~2,500, including entire Smith Valley) pass by.  
  
  We haven't tried the coffee or breakfast, so I can't pass along any information on that count.
