As far as bars located in what are essentially enormous parking lots go, What's On Tap is one of the better ones. I am a grumpy old salt, and what I require from bars is some degree of comfort and relative quiet, and this place has exactly that. It is mostly an older crowd, and as long as no major sporting event is going on, the bar is relatively sparse. The jukebox is loud enough to hear, but you don't have to shout to be overheard. A greasy plastic coffin stuffed full of burned popcorn rests beside the ladies' room, and Stevie Nix and Don Henly's "Leather and Lace" is the song of choice, the charcoal in their throats turning to smoky diamonds slowly, so slowly. Wal*Mart adjacent.
Review Source:Stopped in here for the very first time during Thanksgiving week....they got Guinness on tap, a plus...but nothing except Bass, amongst the vast array of beer on tap to mix it with, a minus!
Nice little courtyard in back was a great place to chill with one of my best buds and shoot the shit and catch up...no waitress service at the time as only had a bartendress working but that was OK... I think if you're gonna sit around drinking beer you oughta have to get off your ass for a refill!!
