I've been going to Whiskeys for 27 years, and it never fails. These are the best ribs. Â Best. Â Anywhere. Â You know the show Best Thing I Ever Ate? Â I would talk about Whiskey Ribs on that show if I could. Â Love the rye bread - warm and fresh. Â Great alternative to run of the mill rolls. Â I always enjoy the atmosphere, too. Â Whatever my mood - the patio is great for parties, but there are also dim, romantic nooks. The decor is eclectic and stylish - you can tell there is a lot of love put into this restaurant. Â I love this place.
Review Source:Hadn't been in years and won't be back for years. Went with a group of girls to celebrate a few birthdays..... To begin with our server was far from attentive and at times even quite rude. Constantly had to ask for things, like another cocktail (this happened multiple times, hey this is what builds your tab and makes money for your restaurant) , water, napkins, can you clear some plates etc. Salads were drowned in dressing to the point that we had to scrape an appetizer plate full of dressing off the wedge to even eat it. "bacon" was deep fried and burnt on top of the wedge. Lobster shrooms had no taste of lobster were swimming in a boat of greasy/water with crusty cheese on top that wouldn't melt. Fried tomatoes, were red/mushy and tasted like nothing but batter. Crab cakes swimming in sauce as well. Potato soup gelled. So sad, because it's such a cute place with simple basic food/menu that could be done well, without a ton of effort, BOOH!
Review Source:I came here by chance when Lawrenceburger was closed and my husband and I Â wanted lunch in Lawrenceburg. It was 2:00 on a Monday, the place was pretty empty and we were seated immediately. They have several different rooms for dining in. We were seated in an area that looked like it used to be an outdoor patio, which was a little different but not bad.
I wanted a chicken sandwich and my husband wanted a burger so we were a little disappointed when after looking at the menu we found no sandwiches. Well, it turns out they have this little piece of paper on the table that has their sandwich menu. He got their burger and a bleu cheese wedge and I got their grilled chicken sandwich. Both came with chips, with the option of getting fries for a little extra. All of it was delicious! The waitress was very friendly and fast. I would definitely recommend going their if you happen to be in the area.
