White Castle

Friend and I were driving cross country when we stumbled across this place. Having watched Harold and Kumar, it was impossible for us to let this opportunity pass.

Unfortunately, we were not high, so the sliders tasted like soggy, microwaved wal-mart food.

While it seemed like the outside was being renovated, the inside was not that great. The hard plastic chairs were not very comfortable, and the bathroom was very small. Those two things are unrelated, by the way. There were no chairs in the bathroom, besides the toilets.

I've bought microwavable White Castle sliders before, and they taste the same as the real thing. If you know anything about microwaved burgers, you'll know that they're not worth it.

I would recommend White Castle for the novelty but not much else.

The appeal of White Castle must be purely nostalgic.

If you grew up with WC and still think these little disasters on a bun are terrific then load me up a bowl of what ever you and Kumar are smokin' and let's party!  Cho 'enuff I came with an open mind and left with severe disappointment.

Two stars because everyone here is so damn friendly....or high as kites!
