    The positives:

They have a great area for concerts and events, with two large bars inside and big screen TVs. I have been there for a few charity benefits, one concert, and for a Superbowl party and was not disappointed. I have only been here for drinks, not for food, so cannot comment on the quality of the food. But they have a good liquor selection and friendly bartenders. The concert set up is awesome. I feel like it definitely has the potential to bring in some bigger bands to play, something Rochester desperately needs.

The negative: I came in once to apply for a job, and was given the run around by management. They seemed extremely disorganized and my phone calls weren't returned many times. I found the ad on Craig's List originally. When I showed up for the interview, it was given at the bar in front of patrons. I thought that was very unprofessional. The person didn't seem to take me seriously at all, even though I came in dressed nicely with a resume in hand, and had over 5 years of serving experience, over 10 of customer service experience, and experience in Micros which they specifically requested in their ad. They never followed up with me to let me know if I was hired or not. All around it was a very discouraging experience, but oh well. Life goes on.

I have never received decent service at The Wicked Moose. Snotty and evasive staff to say the least. The last time I was here I ordered a Caribou Lou. The bartender quickly replied "What the hell is that?". When I told him the ingredients, he snidely said "We don't carry 151 rum". I have not had good luck with the food either. I once ordered their nachos. It took 25 minutes to receive them (on a Tuesday evening) and when they arrived the cheese on top of the nachos was still frozen. The Wicked Moose will not be receiving my business again, nor will I be referring anyone to this bar/restaurant.

I recently visited the Wicked Moose for some food, drinks, and a concert (Trampled by Turtles!!!!).

There are 2 sides.. the side with food.. and the side with the stage (where no food is allowed.. so don't try to bring your leftovers in here.. you will be thwarted by the door-police).

The food side was nice.. plenty of space, and they accommodated our VERY large group very well.  The food was tasty.. typical bar food really.  The beers on tap were a-okay.. and the service was really good.

The music/stage side is laid out pretty nice.. plenty of seating off to the sides and then a big open space in front of the stage.
I felt like there wasn't a bad "seat" in the place.. and the sound was fantastic!

At the end of the night.. cabs lined up outside.. which was very convenient and kinda awesome...

I don't think I'd go out of my way to eat or drink here (I live in Mpls).. but I would make the trek back down to Rochester for any upcoming shows.. especially if it's Trampled by Turtles.. :)

I came here with my fiance for drinks one night and we enjoyed the place.  The drinks were priced alright.  There were 2 pool tables and a dart board so we played each for a little while.  It is a huge place with a lot of tables and could hold a lot of people.  If there was a big crowd I could see it being near impossible to get a game of either pool or darts in...which would be very annoying if that is why you went.  Other than that, the placed seemed fun.  It was a slow night over a holiday weekend so I cannot say much for clientele really.  When we were there it was a quite crowd and one you might expect in a small town bar.  The bartender was really nice.  I am sure we'll go back again sometime we feel like playing pool or darts.

Excellent place, I had the bleu cheese burger. The waitress made us feel at home. Great service.

The food is CHEAP and it's GOOD. Huge bar, great selection, a million TVs, and live music in the old nightclub area (which is huuuuge).

All you Rochesterites know -- this is the old Aquarius/McMurphy's. I think it's a vast improvement, but they're new, and have a little work to do. But for the most part, it's a likeable place. Definitely worth a visit!
