Went to this restaurant with some friends and our children, not a family restaurant. There was one other table and two servers, yet it took well over 45 minutes to get our food. My chicken sandwich had two wooden skewers through the chicken hidden under the bun that I found while taking two separate bites (I even removed my bun to add mayo, and squished the bun back on the chicken and there were no signs of skewers, so they were IN the chicken)! ! The server was very nonchalant about the whole thing. On top of that, the fries were freezer-burnt and not even warm when delivered. The bathroom had a ceiling light cover lying on the floor, no trim around the door, and holes in the drywall. This is clearly a BAR (with low standards at that) that serves bad food! Disappointing food and service, will not return!

Does not take AMEX. Recommended as the place to go on a Wednesday night in Frostburg - trivia night. Not crowded in any way. The chicken sandwhich was slight and bland. Upside was a solid and diverse beer selection that is relatively cheap. Wouldn't return for anything but beer, though my friend said the goose and tonic was well made.

Ok, so this was an unexpected find. We rode the Scenic train up to Frostburg from Cumberland and went looking for some lunch. We came across Wild Things, you can't miss it with the lime green stripes. The place was empty but the Terps game was on so we thought we would be ok.

The atmosphere was typical college town bar. The bathrooms were a little tired but nothing unexpected. The dining area was very nice and there is a small bar. The dance floor has a stripper pole. Yes, I did say stripper pole.

They have a great variety of beer on tap. Many are local but there are still the usual choices. There is a good bottle selection too.

The food was really good. We had pizza which was 5.99 but did not taste anything like a 5.99 pizza. The fried pickles were AWESOME. Some of the best I have ever had. Wings were fantastic and the hot sauce was very tasty.

Eating there took us all back to our college days but we did not have food or beer selections like this place. We are already planning on taking another train ride and maybe spending the night.

If you are looking for something with good food, great beer, and a simple atmosphere Wild Things is the place.
