Searched for a local bar in Stockton on Yelp. Â Found the bar tucked into the corner of a mall. Â I was surprised when we were welcomed immediately. It was a fun experience. Went there in late afternoon and had lots of fun talking to the friendly local/regulars. So friendly! Â Â Later in the day, when the shift changed to a younger bartender, the locals left and younger people came in. Bartender refused to serve us anymore. Â We were not drunk, he said we were there for awhile.... that embarrassed us. Ruined a fun evening.
Review Source:Nice local spot for cocktails & dinner! Friday night ribeye dinner is great...they even started to have our favorites .....blue cheese, sailor jerry & the pear goose just for us! who could ask for more? Â We look forward to our fridays after work...good establishment with awesome service! If you want a great meal...good price..and close to home this is the spot!
Review Source:Just had lunch here. Chicken fried steak, fries and salad.
Food was excellent. Gravy on all nummy num!
Ice tea taste like iced tea, not water!!!!!!!! Now hey, that is important!!!
It's attached to a bar, but the food is definitely worth the dice rolling in the background. Waitress service was very nice too. 5 stars because the gravy was just like my moms!!!
Btw, there is a new cook, and he rockz my sockz ; ).
I will be back!!!
Not sure why there are 2 of these listings but meh...
classic townie bar: you won't run into many yuppie college kids there (unless it's a night when i'm there... but i'm half townie now, anyway). right next to a wicked hole-in-the-wall mexican place, this dive bar is full of classy 40-somethings trying to get some biker action.
order a bud and start a fist fight to fit in.
This is the only bar in Stockton that I still want to go to. Â It is in a strip mall next to 'Big Lots'. Â The last time I was there some girls that I met asked if I wanted to go out to their Saturn and smoke some dirt weed out of a penis shaped glass pipe.
This shit doesn't even happen in the East Bay.
