Wind River Inn

The Wind River Inn is a great place for breakfast. The omelets are the best.

When you are dining in a small town, you can expect to get some 'tude with your food. This place is no exception. We laughed at the snarky banter between the owner (?) and the waitress.

Our breakfasts were huge and yummy. He had biscuits and gravy - the biscuits were large, flaky, and homemade. My french toast was thick and chewy, and the bacon was "just right" - thick and chewy with just a little crunch.

After we ordered I noticed a white board listing several types of pie. My only regret about dining at the Inn was not trying slice of pie!
