Winter Park Pub

Just went for live music outside on Saturday. I love when they have live music outside. We enjoyed cold beers, a full moon and beautiful sunset while listening to great music and watched people dance. The Pub is a fun place to go.

By far my favorite place to go when I am in Winter Park. I go here for the local feel and genuine customer service. I absolutely hate the pretentious "vail type" ski tourist and have a short fuse for rude snobby people.  This place is perfect after a day of snowboarding, they have the best wings and pizza and a good selection of draft beer. The atmosphere is casual and comfortable. Just a tip "vail types"  - make sure you change out of your ski boots before entering. You know we all make fun of you if you decide to walk in with them on - YES! we get you have been skiing ALLLLL day just go back and change first.

I stopped in here last night with some friends and we did not have the best time. It could be for a variety of reasons....primarily that we were looking to hang out / meet new people and the demographic of those present did not match what we were seeking.

However, based on comparisons with other watering holes in town this place matches up to the competition. Reasonably quick bar service, TV's, a spot for live music, and some video games to play if bored.

I have to admit that I wasn't into the crowd that hangs out here. Could have been the band though - they were called the "Sasquatch Mountain Project" so maybe they attracted an eclectic following.

I do recommend going simply for the awesome ski signs that decorate the walls and ceiling.
