We had a looooooong wait for dinner, but the meal was terrific! Â The salad bar was crazy awesome and was filling as a meal in itself. Â
One weird thing was the restaurant is underneath the nightclub so it got pretty loud when the music started thumping upstairs. Â But it's a fun, bustling atmosphere and perfect for a hearty meal after a day on the slopes.

STEAKHOUSE REVIEW
One of the perks of eating at the Wobbly Barn Steakhouse here is the complimentary cover to the awesome performances at the main/upstairs bar (often a $10-$20pp cover). Â Unfortunately, we didn't find the food nearly up to snuff.
For starters, there was about a 90-minute wait for a table, which, for President's Day Weekend, was to be expected. Â My gripe, however (and a pet peeve I have with restaurants in general) is that they don't do call-ahead seating. Â Seriously, what's the difference if I physically go in and place my name on a list or if I call it in - if I wanted to ditch the restaurant, I could easily do so in either scenario. Â Fine, so we put in our name in around 6pm, left the restaurant to go back to our hotel, shower, etc. and returned at our assigned 7:30 time slot. Â We weren't seated until 8:30, and we were given the gamut of excuses by the hostess. Â
Once seated, things took a turn for the better. Â Our waitress was very friendly and knowledgable of the menu and different cuts of steak available. Â There's a salad bar add-on option for an additional fee, but she told us to help ourselves to the fresh, homemade bread they had up there for no charge...thanks! Â
...And now back for the worse. Â Steak options run between $30 and $40 a plate. Â My ski bunny ordered the Beef Tenderloin Oscar (topped with asparagus, blue crab, and bernaise) and I selected the Rib Chop (a 16oz bone-in ribeye). Â We both noticed an odd taste to the crabmeat garnishing her steak - as if it was either fake or expired. Â Whatever the case, it wasn't good AT ALL. Â Her medallions beneath were OK, but certainly not worth the price. Â The same could be said for my Ribeye. Â Quantity over quality took a whole new meaning when half of my steak was PURE fat. Â I'm not talking fat nicely marbled in there - It was more like a penned up cow loaded with hormones who probably received little to no exercise...
There are no burgers or sandwiches on the menu here - only appetizers, steaks, and the "world famous" salad bar (which to their credit looked very good by the way). Â Those looking for a good meal, especially one on the cheap: Â shop elsewhere.
BAR REVIEW
...Phew, now that that's out of the way, I have high praise for the bar. Â Despite the fact that it's Killington-owned and laden with Budweiser ads/signs, this place is pretty cool. Â They've got a nice stage, decent dance floor, and plenty of sitting and standing room on the main floor. Â Go up a level, and you've got a wraparound "terrace" overlooking the music and all the action.
We saw The Benders here on a Saturday night, and the crowd was a mix of ski tourists in their 20s, 30s and 40s, and a helping of teenage locals who probably had nowhere else to go (Killington has a great nightlife, but remember, THIS IS VERMONT after all!) Â The Benders covered en eclectic range of songs from Bon Jovi, The Lumineers, Journey, Nicky Minaj and more, and the DJ and band did a great job in handing off the music responsibilities, giving each other props on the mic, and above all else, keeping the music pumping all night! Â Light and sound technicians set up in the back ensured smooth visual effects and great-sounding music all night. Â Their work was definitely noticed and appreciated!
OVERALL
If they have a good band scheduled on the calendar (<a href="/redir?url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.wobblybarn.net%2Fsite%2Fentertainment%2Fevents&s=23769f69799a4b4a171d5291ce6a057fda761c0909aa0a954cd02b09853474d5" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">http://www.wobblybarn.ne…</a>), you may find it worthwhile to also have a meal here prior to save on the cover charges.  If I were to do it all over again, however, I'd probably eat elsewhere beforehand and get here before 10pm, when cover is only $10pp...the steaks are just not worth your time or money.
Every time my boyfriend and I visit Killington to snowboard we always come to Wobbly Barn for dinner, actually this is almost like a tradition for us.
The food is great, and although the salad bar is no longer free ($7pp), you can take numerous trip to it and share your soup & salad with everyone at the table. Last night I got the beef tenderloin Oscar with crab meat, asparagus and mashed it was delish! Bf got the ribeye and loved it as well. This place never disappointed us before.
Overall, good food, good selection, nice waiters, beer and a laid back atmosphere.
I took my boyfriend here for his birthday and honestly I came here because it seemed like Wobbly Barn is the only steakhouse in the Killington Ski Resort area. We came a bit early to avoid a wait. One thing that there's two sides, a nightclub and a restaurant. Pretty good idea since I do not need to see a drunk fight while having my steak, anyway, back to the restaurant! I ordered the porterhouse and my man ordered one of the specials, filet mignon with steamed lobster tails and claw and mashed lobster potatoes. Now there is a wait for the food, probably because I'm from New York and service has to be in speed of light. But I patiently waited.
The porterhouse was the best entree I ordered, my boyfriend on the other hand, we both looked as if there should've been more on his plate, the lobster tails and claw were already deshelled so it gave this look as he ordered diet food. But the filet mignon he ordered, wow just like butter in your mouth! And the lobster mashed potatoes, fantastic! My porterhouse was served perfectly, raw and juicy with the perfect spices. We will come back when we visit again!
I don't know why the reviews are so so on this! We didn't have any steak so maybe that's why but everything we had was wonderful! Sara- our waiter was super! It was a great Bday meal! We had the amazing salad bar with delish potato bacon soup! Then we had the side of cream spinach which was to die for! The Dijon rack of lamb was so tasty as was the pork chops! We will come back any time we visit Killington!
Review Source:We went for happy hour. They have a free nacho bar, which was decent and you can't beat free! There was also a band. This was on the middle level.
Here is the problem, at the end of Happy Hour they tell you that you either need to move downstairs or upstairs for dinner. They will then reopen that level later. We were refused a beer because we needed to move to another level.
It didn't make sense to us as we were not looking for dinner, we just wanted drinks. So....we left! If they didn't work it that way, we would have stayed. So they end up losing out on business (and we saved money because we went back to our condo)
We came here for dinner our first night in Killington. Â We sat at the bar and order drinks while waiting for our table. Â While sitting at the bar, the bartender sprayed me with beer. Â It got my face, hair and jacket wet, but I wasn't upset about it until the bartender didn't apologize or offer me any napkins to wipe up beer now running down my face. Â All he said was the keg kicked, which is a reasonable explanation, but not a 'sorry about that.' Â Another patron at the bar even commented. Â Â
I think the salad bar is a little over rated, but I did enjoy it. Â The clam chowder was good, but I thought the chili was some of the worse I've ever tasted. Â We ordered the ribs and veal for our entrees. Â I thought the ribs were good for where we were, but they aren't fall off the bone ribs. Â The veal was better than I was expecting it to be, but slightly too much sauce for my liking.
My main complaint about this restaurant is the staff. Â I went to wobbly barn with 11 friends from school during college week, racked up a large tab, the on the way out saw an ad that said 20% off your check with college ID. Â When I asked the manager if it could still be applied after we paid he said "no, it advertised everywhere" Â Maybe we should have read every piece of paper littering the walls to find this, but I think the hostess/waitress/anyone could vE mentioned it along with the specials. Â Food was decent, Â but I won't be going back next time I'm at killington, I have a feeling I'd be more satisfied elsewhere.
Review Source:Ribs did not come off the bone as described. Rib eye was ok, got it mid-rare and some parts were very rare. Not worth the price. Garlic mashed potatoes were bland. Service was sub par. She did not tell us about their discount for college students even though we looked young and checked our IDs for drinks. We found out after we paid their steep prices.
Review Source:Went to the Wobbly Barn last night for an early, romantic dinner with my wife for our first night at Killington in 2013.
VERY DISAPPOINTED,
We both wanted salad bar and a small meal, so we ordered the half slab of ribs to be accompanied by the hefty $7.00 charge for side salad bar.
Salad and bread bar was great, but only visited once.
Ribs came and at first bite, i knew that the evening was going to go downhill, immediately.
The ribs were tough and being a "BBQ Rib Snob" from TN and AL, I was terribly and utterly disgusted. They tasted like they were cooked three to four days ago and re-heated for our plates. A key note in this report, the ribs came out before I finished my salad and bread, which is way too quick, if you know how to prepare ribs in bulk for a meal!
Anyway, after telling the waitress about my displeasure, she asked if i would accept any other substitutes or something else. But, at which time, i was already full and didnt want  anything else.
When the bill came, there was no concession, nor any acknowledgement that there was a problem, I had to ask for it.
When I asked, there was some push back and the resolution that was agreed upon was not in my favor, even though I only ate one rib!
I will NEVER go back to this place again, and we own property just off Killington Road!
Moreover, I will also tell everyone of my experience there!
wobbly is a joke. i only ever come when entrees are discounted and even then it's overpriced.  wobbly bills itself as some upscale steakhouse and it prob is one of the better places to eat in killington ... but that's like saying a goldfish in a bag is the best sashimi in afghanistan. i ordered my ribeye rare because i knew they'd overcook it, and voilà it came out medium. the rice pilaf wasn't bad but whatever. the salad bar is awesome though. i actually adore the spread of soups and all the fixings ... i could and do come back just for that once a year.
the nightlife is hilarious. it's a more middle-aged crowd and i always end up at pickle barrel anyways. it's prob just a few more years until my friends and i are relegated to wobbly.
This is probably one of the two better places to eat in Killington. Â Salad bar is pretty extensive and a meal in itself. Â The porterhouse was cooked the way I wanted and had no complaints there. Â It's not the same as the upscale steakhouses, but if you want a good meal in what should be a cowboy bar, this is the place to go.
I think if you eat there, you can also go upstairs to the club without paying the cover charge. Â I wasn't sure if that is always the case, but it never hurts to ask.
Went there this past saturday night. Waited 45 minutes for a table. Steaks were not medium rare as ordered and when we ordered a side of creamed spinach, the waiter didn't inform us it already came with the dish. Expensive for just OK food. Salad bar is not world famous and the delmonico cut was not cut well. $300 for four people (only THREE entrees) Ouch!
Review Source:I'm going to break my own rule and do some stereotyping here. Â Basically, if you're a 24 year old dude who is into the Jersey Shore and likes 6:1 male/female ratios so you can stand around and talk to your bros about that random hot chick over there while waiting a half hour for one of the four prima-donna (horrible, horrible service) bartenders in the whole joint to pour you a weak drink, then THIS IS THE PLACE FOR YOU! Â
On the plus side, if you are already drunk and have nothing better to do, given that you're chilling on the side of a mountain, probably sore from a day of skiing, and there's nothing else around, then this place does have plenty of energy and you'll probably see some stupid people acting stupid, which is always entertaining on some level. Â
SURVEY SEZ: Â BZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZT!
thank you Wobbly Barn... this is one of the best restaurants i have ever been to.
i live in nyc and have been lucky enough to eat at some of the best restaurants and  i know a great well-managed restaurant when i am lucky enough to find one.  are there fancier places in the world, or more haute cuisine, sure. but, for outstanding american food in a rustic steakhouse with ski-lodge authentic charm... this is as good as Ive experienced from any restaurant in any category.  I went two nights in a row this past week (during my first trip ever to Killington). The first night at Wobbly Barn made the thought of going anywhere else for dinner the next nite obsolete.  Im so glad I asked around before we decided on dinner out that first nite.
from the moment we came in nite 1, the mgr was courteous and friendly. next was our waiter... this guy is the kind of server that legends are made of... David aka "Duad". Â not only a great server, but a classic character and gentleman... a throwback to the days of manners and joviality that I can only imagine the 1950s were made of. Â just a great guy with terrific spirit. Â eating out for me is a pretty common occurence in the city (albeit more often than not, disappointing on at least one level or another)... so, when you get service like this, it is quite memorable, Duad was professional and friendly, without being phony or overbearing.
and then the food... bone-in delmonico charred to perfection, crab cakes phenomenal (Im a DC/MD native, I know good crab cakes), salad bar perfection including a very rare albeit simple/classic item... an amazing french dressing. i havent had french dressing like that in years, if ever. great simple salad bar, very fresh, clean, good soups, good homemade breads.
nite two, held off on the steaks but had a nice scampi and of course, the salad bar again (the full salad/soup/bread bar is included with all entrees). again friendly greetings from host. we then waited at the cozy bar for our table. bartender made my gf's gimlet well and happily made my americano cocktail (i had to tell him the ingredients; but as this classic isnt often made outside of cocktail-culture type places, i did not mind filling him in and he was happy to make it per my recipe. he also made it quite well I might add for a first mix). Â waiter this nite was Victor who was extremely polite, well spoken, and mindful of the pacing for our meal. Â never overbearing but somehow also never absent, a rarity in service. that takes a thoughtful patient server and he has those qualities down pact.
every staff member we encountered was great, on nite one we took to the bar/club/stage area upstairs which was impeccably clean while also fittingly rustic. we were early in the nite as this part of the place had just opened around 8, and it smelled of clean wood, was spotless, and every inch of the place was tended to correctly (down to the wall of stickers/flyers/press which gave a nice overview of the establishment's past and present). the music was just right by the house dj before the first band got started. Â the security guard who stamped our hands on the way in was very nice and also well spoken, courteous and happy to answer our questions. (big guy, beard, didnt get his name).
in the nightclub area, we were served by Mike who was a great barman. I Â managed two very successful bars in nyc in my past and I know a good barman when I meet one. I wasnt surprised to hear he had been there for years when I asked. Â again, it was great to have good service at yet another point in the place. he was happy to chat with me about the place and the town.
this place is a great mix of either a romantic date spot (get a booth) or for the whole family or for a girls/guys night out. and in the dining room, the background music was just right with nice selections of classic rock from cream to the stones (just loud enough to make you feel it, but not loud enough to distract you from your company)
no one in the place knew me, yet I was treated like I was the owner's son. it is so rare to have seamless service, and to also have high standards met with the food and with the general care and preservation of the place (clean perfect rustic ski-town type place). it's now no wonder to me how I always happened upon the name of this place when I had considered Killington in the past, and its now one of the main reasons I will return to Killington as Im always in the mood for this type of dining and night life experience, and am happy to travel/pay for it.
Hadn't been there in about 5 years until this week. It was not as good as I had remember, the salad bar seemed a little weaker and the soups were not good at all. The prime rib was okay and best however the strip and ribeye looked super juicy and the people I was with had no compliant while eating them. I did go midweek so it was very slow and that may have been the cause for the mediocracy. I hope I was there on an off night because this was my favorite spot in Vermont in the past!
Review Source:No, I did not retired. Â No, I am not that busy. Â No, I do not have writer's block. Â I just haven't gone anywhere that interesting in a while, or have I? Â Wobbly barn could easily be 5 stars, if.. Only if...
2 eprops for live music. Â The band performing that night was bitching good. Â
2 eprops for hiring really hot girls walking around and having them dance on stage.
-2 eprops for the 20 dollar cover. Â I know musican have to eat too, but wow, 20 bux?
-2 eprops for the place being a sausage fest. Â (thank god for the chicks that works there)
So there you have it. Â +4 eprops and -4 eprops equals a neutral 3 star rating. Â If and only if.....
I've been coming to Killington for a few years but for some reason I've never eaten at the Wobbly Barn, just been to the night club on one occasion. So last week decided to check it out. The service was excellent, the steak was great. I have always thought of salads as something to be given to a pet rabbit but I must admit the wobbly salad bar was good and more interesting than boring old green leaves.
So would I go again? Yes. Tonight.
I would recommend this place. It's might not be Smith & Wollensky or Peter Luger but it's good.
Probably one of the only steakhouses in the area when you stay the weekend in Killington, we come here often when we go on our yearly snowboard trips.
Service is very good. Servers are always attentive and our water glasses are always full. That's a plus.
The negatives are, what I can only assume, the kitchen. I always order steak and it never comes out the right temperature. Â I've had a friend send her same steak back twice and it was still BLUE (aka the temperature right before rare). Mind you, she ordered Medium. Inconsistencies like that just don't fly at a place that calls itself a steakhouse.
Came here mid-December.. and boy, this is where the party is at! The place was loud, booze flowing, music playing - made the 1 hour wait for a table much bearable. My party of predominantly guys were starved by the time we sat down and chowed down on *gasp* salad from the salad bar!! Ok, the boys will eat salad because it's included with the entree. Free is always good, right? but no these boys made 2nd, 3rd trips to the salad bar. Me, finally getting up to see what the hype was all about, took my drunk ass to the salad bar to find a glorious selection of vegetables, fresh sliced bread, soup and other treats! .. and yes in the middle of a "steakhouse". Impressive salad bar I give them that.
By the time my steak came I was about to pass out from the alcohol that's been in my body since 3pm so I don't remember much of how it tasted. I do remember going "WTF?!" when the check came so I think the place was a bit overpriced. It's a fun place with not much other places to choose from after a day out on the mountain.
If I could give this negative stars I would. Â The only good thing at the Wobbly is the salad bar, which they still have the gall to charge 15 dollars for! Â This is Killington VT people, not NY city. Â The prices only get worse from there, like 35 dollars steaks and 25 dollar chicken breast. Â They dont post their prices on their site, so you have to wait till you get there to see how astronomical the prices are. Â
Once you convince yourself that you will pay 35 dollars for a steak in middle of nowhere VT, you will be shocked to find that you could get a steak of this quality at the local Sizzler. Â Truly an embarrassment. Â The server suggested that we get the garlic mashed potatoes for the starch, upon seeing them you may think they came from a box, upon tasting them you know they are.
The absolute gem of the evening had to be that we dragged our two vegetarian friends there. Â (I know, dont ask.) Â They decided they would have the only vegetarian choice on the menu. Â The description is impeccable, and you might think you are getting a gorgeous risotto type meal with fresh local veggies. Â What you actually get looks more like oatmeal with cream poured on top and not mixed in. Â Our friends each had a bite and could not suffer any further. Â When we told our server that they were unhappy with the food, he walked away!! Â Thats right folks, he WALKED AWAY! Â Its not that we expected him to move heaven and earth for us, but a simple 'May I offer you something else?' may have sufficed. Â
I really could go on, but I will spare you and myself from reliving the pain of this horrid excuse for a steak house. Â Bottom line, eat anywhere but here!
If your looking for a good time in killington this is about as close as you can get to it. I showe up on the Monday after Xmas b4 new years with one of my boys hopin to find some females. Not happening. Killington is loaded up with groups of dudes and guys with their girlfriends. The 10 dollar cover sucked but at least they had free coat check. The band was actually very good too. Just not a great place to go tower girls but I supposse nothing is up here so you might as well bring ur own.
Drinks were expensive. The draft beer they had on tap was 6.50 a glass. Pretty expensive after paying 10 for cover. But I guess that is the Vermont way. Try to soak the out of state ppl for every penny they can.
Next time I come to Vermont I will go to Stratton. The skiing is much better and there is close to no nightlife up here to make It worth coming here. Not that there is at Stratton, but the mountain is much nicer and not as crowded.
My review is based on the restaurant ONLY - I was too tired after a day of skiing to partake in the live-music festivities on the main floor. Â The food was good, but not good enough for the prices the Wobbly charges. Â $35 for a 7 oz filet in a restaurant that has sawdust as a floor accent is a little outrageous. Â Granted, the entrees do come with an unlimited salad bar (priced at $15 alone), the price for meat was a little high for me. Â The quality of the food was good, but nothing to write home about. Â
The best thing about the Wobbly (and Outback Pizza, Pickles, and others) is that it has a free shuttle up and down the access road.
After a day at the slopes, this is a Nice place to have a simple hearty dinner and then go back upstairs for some live music and drinks!  I had the ribs there and it was tasty delicious.  The night we were there, we got to listen to Big Baby Ernie (<a href="/redir?url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.myspace.com%2Fbigbabyernie&s=fa5df83c46757b7ff14541c0e2014488242f317db5cbeeacf70eb7ba9d540c70" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">http://www.myspace.com/b…</a>).  He kept our spirits high even though we were all exhausted.
No reservations are taken, but we called in before we drove over to check on the wait. Â I would stop by again when I visit Killington :)
If you're looking for a place to eat, go somewhere else. If you're searching for a relaxing night, do not go here. If you're looking for the place to party, this is it.
The food is severely overpriced and mediocre at best. The open bread, salad and soup bar is tasty, but for over $20, it's a rip off. The steaks consist mainly of fat too and this is supposed to be a steakhouse.
This bar typically has a great live band every Saturday night. After a long day of skiing or snowboarding, this is the place that people 21-35 yrs old typically flock too. It gets packed and everyone had fun. There are 3 bars available, but the bar service is extremely slow. Expect to wait up to 15 minutes for a beer on a busy night.
If you stop at the bar at Killington mountain lodge, make friends with the bartenders. They always have free passes, which let you get by on the cover charge.
Food: 2 Stars
Entertainment: 4 Stars
If you go to Killington, spend your Saturday late-night here.
This place is always busy so either plan to come early or wait about an hour for a table. Upon walking into the barnyard like structure, you will see a free coat check straight ahead. You can ignore the coat check and proceed down the stairs for the restaurant, or the nightclub on the main floor (with a $10 entrance fee) for the various live bands that occasionally come in.
We noticed the place was pretty empty at around 7pm, so we decided to dine in. Walking downstairs, you will be introduced by the hostess, who immediately sat us. There was a good amount of seating ranging from tables with chairs and also booth tables. We were fortunate to get a booth table, or maybe not so fortunate. The edge of the booth seat had a 1/2" molding/raised edge, which made it quite awkward and tight to get out of the seats. The rest of the restaurant was dimly lit, but was nicely done, comfy and cozy.
Service was pretty impeccable. The waiter came over to take our drink orders and mention the specials, and all the meanwhile was very courteous and enthusiastic about giving any recommendations and clarifications on dishes. The waiter also came over several times during the meal to clean dishes, refill our waters, and asked if we needed anything else.
I decided to try their prime rib which was one of their house specialties. I ordered the Mountain Cut Prime Rib which was a 16 oz. prime rib of beef au jus ($31.95) with a side of garlic mashed potatoes. We also ordered a daily special, ravioli filled with spicy sausage and grilled shrimp ($23.95). We also ordered some beef, Long Trail Blackberry for $5.50 and a Long Hammer I.P.A. for $6.50. Included with our meals was the free soup, salad, and bread buffet bar. The two soups being offered were New England Clam Chowder and Buffalo Chicken Soup. The salad bar seemed pretty average, with spinach and mixed greens, and then the usual sides (egg whites, peppers, cherry tomatoes, jalapenos, artichokes, olives, shredded carrots, croutons, onions, bowtie pasta and more). Some of the 6 dressings were pretty interesting, from the Maple Vermont Vinegrette, to the Tomato-style dressing. On to the food.
The New England Clam Chowder was delicious!! Perfectly creamy in consistency and not too salty or bland. The only gripe was that there were not enough clam chunks in the soup. The Buffalo Chicken soup was very odd, with shredded bits of chocolate and a medley of vegetables ranging from celery, carrots, and more. It was slightly spicy, tomato soup thin in consistency, but the taste was oddly peculiar, somewhat of a turn off. The salad bar could easily be forgotten as some of the ingredients did not taste entirely fresh nor stale, just average. Our meals came out in about 15 minutes from our order, only giving us enough time to get a plate of salad, and a bowl of each soup. The 16 oz. prime rib was perfectly cooked and sat in a big pool of au jus. It looked very appetizing, but after taking a couple bites, I've come to the conclusion that the prime rib was quite bland and subpar. There was not a lot of seasoning, where they could have seared the outer edges with spices to bring some flavor out. I kept thinking of putting some salt on the prime rib to bring out the flavor because the au jus did not do a very good job at that. There was a substantial part of marbleized fat through the meat but it was slightly chewy and unappealing. The garlic mashed potatoes were creamy and delicious. Yum! I was a big fan of the ravioli stuffed with spicy sausage and shrimp. It had a nice kick to it. My only gripe with that dish was that no sides were included and portions were small with only about 8-10 pieces of large ravioli.
In all, for the several attempts I have tried to come here to dine in, I am glad that I have finally had the chance to try it out, but I was not at all impressed with their specialty, the prime rib. Maybe it was a bad day for them because 1-hour waits have to say something about the restaurant, but I'd wander on the border of caution for their simplicity of dishes and high prices. The soup, salad, and bread buffet bar could be your main entree for $17.95, but again, definitely not worth the price because of the simple and cheap sides.
I had no business whatsoever tackling the Vertigo run at Killington --- I'm an average skier / disastrous boarder --- but ego got the better of me. New challenges, you know? What's life without 'em? So... basically, I slid down a mile's worth of mountain on my ass. Boy, does that ever work up an appetite!
Enter my savior: the Wobbly Barn.
My girlfriend wasn't wild about the place (the food, specifically), but she's a better skier than I am, which means she was less tired and less hungry. Also, the WB is pretty hyped in these parts, so she didn't feel it lived up to the rep. Me? After a day on the slopes? Just serve up the BBQ Ribs & Chicken Combo and a brew (with some chocolate cake for dessert) and I'm set. The Barn delivered big-time.
Don't be a knucklehead --- stop by. It's a Killington must.
When in Killington VT you have to get to the Wobbly Barn on a Saturday night. They have a live band that plays cover songs. I think it's a different band every weekend. Then of course a DJ, who plays rap and top 40.
Its kind of a place where people of all ages can go, but if you're over 30 it brings you back to your late teens early 20's. That's just my opinion!!!
OHHH and the drinks are CHEAP, compared to what we pay in Boston!!! I think I got like 8 shots for 20bucks...now that's a deal. And don't worry you won't feel any pain the next day on the slopes!!!!!
Have fun :)
I went here to experience the Killington Nightlife with some friends of mine this past weekend. It's a HUGE place! They had a band playing 90's rock and contemporary rock and between their sets they would play hip hop and dance music which was a blast. I think the music was better enjoyed than the band. They had plenty of people walking around to make sure things didn't get too out of control. It's a nice atmosphere, it's a laid back dance place and I hear their food is pretty good too. Yay!
Review Source:Yum, yum. Â You may have to wait forever if you don't time it right....but wow does this place have the right fixins for eating while on ski/board trip. Â Yummy steak (and no you can't expect Morton's quality here) Â great salad and soup (and great Chili) bar and then great baked potatos and bread that accompany the meal. Â Yum, yum place to hit up Killington Way.
Review Source:I never complete a snowboarding trip to Killington without stopping at wobbly for dinner. Â this place has a very fun atmosphere. Â restaurant downstairs bar/club upstairs. Â salad bar comes with ever dinner. Â VERY fresh ingredients in the salad bar. Â soups and bacon bits to add to the potato you get with your steak. Â It wasn't the best steak I have tasted in my life, but it hit the spot after a long day of riding. Â good selection of beer. Â try a long trail on draft, it is fresh because it is brewed in nearby Bridgewater, VT
