Wolftown Mercantile Country Store

An old time country store. I used to stop in here all time on my way in and out of fly fishing excursions on the Staunton and Rapidan Rivers in Shenandoah National Park for coffee, cold beverages, and snacks.

Stopped in here again today for a cold beverage. Place hasn't changed!

In addition to the grocery store/convenience store goods - you can order subs, sandwiches, salads, and more.

The amusing/cool part is the wood stove off to the left when you walk in. There is usually a couple of old timers sitting around the stove chewing the fat. There were a couple today! :-)
