Only the best thing that ever happened to Lake Elsinore. All the other bars in Elsinore are changing (bar rats dont embrace change) yet one place remains the same... Oh, Wreck, how I love thee.
    Cheap drinks.
    Lots of space for activities.
    Shuffle board.
Amanda-the best most hilarious bartender ever.
Homeless people that come in and steal the toilet paper. (so funny)
Crackheads walking by at 1am, bumming cigarettes.
    Great jukebox
Powdered soap (my favorite, boraxo) in the restrooms.

This place is my absolute favorite place ever. EXCEPT..some of the new bartenders bring in their creepy boyfriends who start trouble for no reason. Now I just call ahead of time to see who is working. Ill only go when amanda or G is working

    It's a true dive bar!

Cheap drinks, friendly staff, pool, darts, and live music on the weekends.  On the occasions I went the place had a decent number of people in there, but it wasn't so packed that you couldn't get service- I would call it the perfect situation!  Patrons ranged from twenty somethings to middle-aged.  I'd probably go here again!

One of the friendliest dive bars I've ever been in.

Have been in here twice. Each time there are characters. The last time there was a guy who had just pulled some radishes from his home veggie garden, had too many, and was giving them away - delicious!

Drinks are strong and reasonably priced. The place is huge. Everything from pool tables, to dartboards, to a reading corner. Don't go to the bathroom unless you really have to... (Almost dropped to 4 stars!)

Will definitely be back. I hear that they have a fun Sunday afternoon karaoke scene.

This is by far the BEST dive bar around!  Cheap drinks, friendly bartenders and plenty of room around the bar.  It used to be a bowling alley so it is very spacious on the inside.  There are dart boards, electronic bowling, a pool table and shuffle board.  You will want to be careful because it is close to the police station and you will often see them patrolling the street, but you can always call a cab if you have had too much!  Bring cash!!!  They do not accept credit cards and that is one way they can keep their prices so low!

This place is walking distance from our house and is pretty much amazing. The drinks are so strong I thought I was going to drown. I love it here.

You will not be taught how to dougie here.  In fact, there may not be much to learn other than what a true dive bar looks, but importantly, smells like.  The regulars keep to themselves and they are there every day, some all day.

There are patches of danger zones here.  A danger zone is an area where an unidentifiable odor saturates your being.  It causes a level of discomfort that makes you squirm but doesn't make you change seats.

There is no happy hour here.  According to their sign, happy hour is all day every day.  Drink prices are low to help keep your spirits high.  Some of the bar stools have permanent creases; which is incredible.

    No cat daddy either...

If you're looking for daiquiris and margaritas, this is not the place for you. But if you're looking for cheap beer and strong drinks this is your bar. A dive bar that lives up to it's name. It's hot, smells funny, the tables haven't been cleaned in years, and the bar is warped and uneven, but it's a fun place to drink and if you're brave enough, they even have food. (I wasn't) Oh, and stop at the bank before you go, this place is cash ONLY.

one of the great hidden gems of the IE.  bar flys galor who care more about their booze fix then the young ladies who sauntered in, so its a good place to be if yr a chick who just wants to get wasted. Thank god there are no hipsters in this area as they would come here to try to channel their inner bukowski .
I have spent many a night here with my friends playing ping pong and enjoying new creations the old timer bar tender offers us.

once after a night of heavy wreck drinking a friend and I proceeded to the circle k bought us some 40s of olde E and andre pink champagne and broke in to the temecula cemetery.

    awesome things happen here.

Oh HELL YES.  This place makes you remember what it means to be a proper alcoholic.  Beer nuts.  Broken stuff.  A flippin' library!  C'mon!

Shuffleboard, a junkie or two, ping-pong, an 80 year old man with a beer cozy, pool tables, $2.75 coors lights....

    Heaven.

when i see two eighty year old men with their own personal beer cozies, a toothless indian with a crutch, and a 40 year old woman that looks like my grandfather...i know i'm gonna like it.

cheap beer, pool, ping-pong, a library, a stage, shuffleboard and darts. one can safely say that the Wreck has got it all.

it's really making me consider a summer house in Lake Elsinore.

if you ever breeze into that city, you're gonna want to get to know this place.

A true dive in every sense of the word.  Cheap, strong drinks, one or two local addicts and no frills.  They had chili dogs for sale when we were there, and no, I didn't have the stones to try one.

I have a Aunt in Lake Elsinore and when I visited 3 years ago I stopped in here and wow it is a dive but the bartender was nice and the drinks were good, a bit rough to say the least.  The mexicans gave my wife dirty looks and the bathroom was out of a horror movie but I have to say it was unique.  My Aunt used to come here in the 70's back then it was the place to be I guess.  A lot different, Hah!

ernie milleman hangs out there, and ernie is a superstar:  veteran of the seventies in north whittier,  and the brother of monte welk, superstar.  while in the wreck, buy ernie a cocktail and ask him about the ramones.  he'll know monte sent you. ..seriously, a fine place to get drunk.  and a proud family tradition since 1988!
